Legette caught three of his five targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 44-38 overtime win over the Falcons.
Legette was limited while playing through wrist and hip injuries in Sunday's game, finishing fourth among Panthers wide receivers in offensive snaps played (28). Despite the limited playing time, the 2024 first-round pick from South Carolina was somewhat productive, recording 30 or more receiving yards for the 10th time in his rookie campaign. With the Panthers out of playoff contention, Legette concluded his first pro season with 49 receptions for 497 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games, ranking seventh in receiving yards among rookies in Carolina's history.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Suiting up in Week 18
Legette (hip/wrist) is active for Sunday's game at Atlanta, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Legette will continue to play through hip and wrist injuries, the latter of which may require surgery after the season. Still, he'll aim to end his rookie campaign on a high note, as he's seen at least eight targets in three of his last four appearances. Having said that, Legette has managed just a 13-127-0 line on 28 targets during that span.

Legette (hip/wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Legette missed Week 16 with the same pair of injuries but returned for last week's 48-14 loss to the Buccaneers. He mentioned potentially needing wrist surgery after the season, and it's possible the injury has contributed to his rookie-year inefficiency (10.2 yards per catch, 5.9 per target). Legette was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday, following full participation Wednesday. His availability should be confirmed one way or another about 90 minutes before the Panthers' 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Logs limited practice Thursday
Legette (hip/wrist) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
One day removed from logging a full practice Wednesday, Legette took a step back in activity level, but it may be maintenance related, as he's tending to a hip issue for a third consecutive week. After sitting out Week 16 against the Cardinals, he returned to action this past Sunday at Tampa Bay, hauling in five of nine targets for 28 yards on a 68 percent snap share. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Legette carries a designation into the weekend ahead of Sunday's game in Atlanta.

Legette brought in five of nine targets for 28 yards in the Panthers' 48-14 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Legette made his return from a one-game absence due to hip and wrist injuries and finished tied for the team lead in receptions while also setting the pace in targets. However, the rookie could do little with his five catches, his highest total since Week 4. Legette sat out the Panthers' Week 16 win over the Cardinals with the pair of injuries, but he demonstrated major progress in his recovery this week, as he was listed as a limited participant for all three of the team's practices. Though he still took a questionable tag into the weekend, all signs pointed to Legette playing Sunday, and his availability has now been confirmed. Panthers' Xavier Legette: Looking likely to return in Week 17
Legette (hip/wrist), who is listed questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Legette missed his first game of the season in last Sunday's win over Arizona, but he appears to be trending in the right direction toward a return after logging limited practice sessions both Thursday and Friday. The rookie wideout has been inconsistent throughout the campaign, but his presence would boost a Panthers wideout corps that lacks depth. If Legette does play Sunday, Jalen Coker would likely slide back to the No. 3 wideout role, while David Moore could be on the field less often after logging 89 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps in Week 16.
