Texans' Will Anderson: Cleared to play vs. Kansas City
Anderson (chest) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Anderson produced a DNP-LP-FP practice log during Week 14 prep and has progressed enough in his recovery from a chest injury to fade an injury tag for Sunday's contest. The third-year pass rusher has accumulated 40 tackles (25 solo), including 10.5 sacks, three pass defenses, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries through 12 regular-season games.

Texans' Will Anderson: Limited in practice
Anderson (chest) was limited in practice Thursday.
Anderson appeared on the injury report last Thursday with a chest injury. However, it did not seem to impact his snap count in Week 13 versus the Colts. The 24-year-old's limited participation in practice Thursday is a positive sign for his availability in Sunday night's matchup against Kansas City. The third-year pro has 40 tackles (25 solo), including 10.5 sacks, and three pass breakups in 12 games this season.

Texans' Will Anderson: Back on injury report
Anderson (chest) did not practice Wednesday.
Anderson popped up on the injury report with the chest injury last Thursday, ahead of the Texans' Week 13 win over the Colts. He still played a normal allotment of snaps and logged four tackles, so there's minimal concern about his availability for a Week 14 matchup against the Chiefs at this point in the week.

Texans' Will Anderson: Good to go Sunday
Anderson (chest) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Colts.
After missing practice Thursday, Anderson was limited in Friday's session and is good to go for Week 13. Anderson has racked up 36 tackles (23 solo), including 10.5 sacks, three pass breakups, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries across 11 starts this season.

Texans' Will Anderson: Doesn't practice Thursday
Anderson (chest) did not practice Thursday.
Anderson was absent from the injury report Wednesday before appearing Thursday with a chest injury, but it is unclear where he sustained it. The defensive end is coming off a dominant performance against the Bills on Thursday Night Football in Week 12, and his potential absence for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Colts would be a heavy blow to the Texans' defense.

Texans' Will Anderson: Reaches double-digit sacks
Anderson had six tackles (two for loss), including 2.5 sacks, and defensed one pass in Thursday's 23-16 win over Buffalo in Week 12.
The fingerprints of Houston's defense were all over this win, and Anderson was instrumental. The 2.5 sacks were a season high, gave him at least one sack in six straight games and moved him to 10.5 for the season, marking his second consecutive year with double-digit sacks. Anderson ranks fourth in the league in that category, a half-sack behind his teammate, Danielle Hunter, who recorded 2.0 sacks himself Thursday.

Texans' Will Anderson: Good to go against Buffalo
Anderson (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Thursday's game against the Bills.
Anderson was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, which was good enough for him to shed an injury tag into Thursday night's game. The third-year pro is enjoying a productive 2025 campaign, accumulating 30 tackles (20 solo), including 8.0 sacks, two pass defenses, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown) across 10 regular-season games.

Texans' Will Anderson: Nursing ankle injury
Houston listed Anderson (ankle) as a limited practice participant on Monday's estimated report.
Anderson played a key role during the Texans' 16-13 win over the Titans on Sunday, when he strip-sacked Cam Ward and recovered the fumble he caused early in the fourth quarter, leading to a 43-yard field goal from Matthew Wright four plays later. Anderson appears to have tweaked his ankle during Sunday's game, and his practice participation over the next two days will indicate his chances of suiting up against the Bills on Thursday.
