  • Titans' Kalel Mullings: Three carries in 2025

Mullings recorded three rushes for seven yards across nine games for the Titans during the 2025 season. Mullings was selected in the sixth round of the 2025 draft and managed to stick on the Titans' roster all season. He hurt his ankle in Week 1 and was sidelined until Week 12. Mullings primarily contributed on special teams from there, logging only 12 of his 149 total snaps in his rookie campaign on offense.

  • Titans' Kalel Mullings: Plays final snap of Week 17

Mullings gained four yards on his lone carry in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Saints. Mullings took the field for the just one of the Titans' 74 snaps on offense in the loss, carrying the ball on the final play of the game as Tennessee wound out the clock. Since being activated from injured reserve in late November, the rookie sixth-round pick out of Michigan has suited up in six straight games but has logged just three carries for seven yards. He's seen most of his playing time on special teams while Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears have worked ahead of him at running back.

  • Titans' Kalel Mullings: Limited at rookie minicamp

Titans head coach Brian Callahan said Saturday that Mullings (abdomen) is recovering from core muscle surgery and will be limited at rookie minicamp, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Tennessee selected Mullings in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft with knowledge of his offseason procedure, so his current capped participation level at rookie minicamp is simply the result of following his recovery timetable. Once fully healthy, Mullings will work to earn a depth role behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears (concussion). Callahan said the Titans are "just being careful with [Mullings] at this point," per Zach Dimmitt of SI.com.

The Titans selected Mullings in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 188th overall. Mullings played linebacker for most of his first three seasons at Michigan before focusing on running back for the final two years. In his fifth season, Mullings served as the lead back in a tandem with Donovan Edwards, generating 948 yards and 12 touchdowns on 185 carries (5.1 YPC). He failed to demonstrate pass-catching chops, however, so his path to playing time in Tennessee is hazy behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears.
