Rucker didn't take part in Wednesday's practice due to a neck injury, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Rucker's status was in doubt for Week 5 due to what is likely the same neck issue, but he wound up playing 16 defensive snaps in the contest. It's possible the training staff is holding him out to ensure his health for Week 6, but the final injury report Friday should reveal more about the prospects of him suiting up against the Seahawks.

Raiders' Frostee Rucker: Signs with Oakland
Rucker signed a one-year contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Rucker comes to Oakland after spending five seasons with Arizona, having averaged 21 tackles per season and only once topping three sacks in a single campaign. The Raiders don't have much depth at defensive end, so it's possible the 12-year vet could work with the first-team offense right away while star defensive end Khalil Mack holds out for an extension.

Rucker totaled 29 tackles (23 solo) and 1.5 sacks in 16 games for the Cardinals in 2017.
Rucker signed a one-year deal last spring and improved upon his sackless 2016 season. Retirement is certainly a viable consideration for the 34-year-old at this point, and he is likely to be limited to a rotational role if he does return for the 2018 season, which he enters as a free agent.
