LaCombe set up the second of Frank Vatrano's three goals in this game. With helpers in consecutive games, LaCombe appears to be getting more comfortable in a top-four role as a rookie. The 22-year-old defenseman has three assists, six shots on goal, 12 blocked shots, six hits, six PIM and a plus-2 rating over eight appearances.

LaCombe recorded an assist, three hits and two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Bruins.
LaCombe picked up the secondary helper on Mason McTavish's overtime tally. It's a good sign for LaCombe that he's been trusted with minutes in the 3-on-3 session. The rookie defenseman has handled a top-four role so far, picking up two helpers, five shots on net, 10 blocked shots, five hits, six PIM and a plus-1 rating over seven appearances. His ice time may drop once Jamie Drysdale (lower body) returns.

Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Gathers helper in win
LaCombe recorded an assist, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
LaCombe has handled a top-four role well so far in 2023-24. The assist was his first point through two games, to go with five blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. The 22-year-old played in two games last season after signing out of the University of Minnesota. He's yet to see much power-play time, so his fantasy value will remain limited unless that changes.

Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Scores twice in preseason
LaCombe scored two goals on six shots in five preseason contests, adding another assist along the way.
LaCombe comes into the 2023-24 campaign with just two games of NHL experience but appears to have earned himself a spot on the Opening Night roster. Urho Vaakanainen will likely be on the heels of LaCombe all season long to try and pry away a spot in the lineup.
