Best college basketball picks for Tuesday, Jan. 6

Georgia vs. Florida Under 174.5

Florida fell out of this week's AP poll following a road loss to Missouri and now welcomes a ranked Georgia team to Gainesville. It could be another rough night for the Gators. Georgia covers in 66% of the model's simulations, but we'll take the Under, which hits in a whopping 72.6% of the sims. Three of the last five Florida games have gone Under.

Duke vs. Louisville Under 161.5

Cameron Boozer and the Blue Devils have a stern test ahead of them as they head to Louisville. The Cardinals are smarting after a road loss to Stanford that dropped them four spots in the poll, and they'll be up for this game on their home court. Guard Mikel Brown Jr. will miss his fourth straight game for Louisville, which is part of why the model has this game going Under in 60.7% of its simulations. Three of the last five Cardinals games have finished Under.

Texas Tech vs. Houston Over 143.5

Everything's bigger in Texas, including the basketball. No. 14 visits No. 7 here, and it should be a wildly entertaining game. The SportsLine model expects a track meet, as the Over hits in 74.6% of the simulations. Four of the last five Tech games have gone Over.
