Here's the CBSSports.com Rapid Reports Pac-12 power ranking:

While 11 teams continue to feast on each other, no one has been able to roast the Oregon Ducks. This week, though, Arizona makes its case for the No. 2 predator on the food chain, after picking off USC.

1. No. 2 Oregon  (8-0): What more is there to say? The Ducks are so ahead of the rest of the league, it's almost as if Chip Kelly has barely even dipped into his bag of tricks. Can you imagine what else is in there? A Fabrege egg in the shape of a football and with emeralds in the shape of an O? A fire-breathing dragon egg? Other kinds of eggs? The Ducks beat Colorado 70-14, led 56-0 at the half, four players scored multiple times and they barely broke a sweat. A defeated USC team looms, and that game remains the barometer. So maybe Oregon will sweat twice. Last week's ranking: 1. Next up: at USC, 7 p.m. ET (Fox)

2. No. 11 Oregon State (6-1): So here's the part in the fairy tale when Cinderella wakes up with a huge zit and a cough, accidentally trips in the glass slippers and gets a run in her stockings. The Beavers were dealt their first loss of the season by Washington as Sean Mannion had a truly brutal return to knee action after a knee injury in a 20-17 defeat. Mannion threw four interceptions, and while Oregon State out-gained the Huskies, 427-293, the Beavers were just 5 of 14 on third down and 0 for 3 on fourth. Last week's ranking: 2. Next up: vs. Arizona State, 10:35 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

3. No. 19 Stanford (6-2): It was not a dominating performance...well, no. Let's stop right there. It was a pretty bad performance against Washington State, but it got the job done. Stanford outlasted the Cougars, 24-17, despite just 256 total yards and 13 first downs. Thirteen first downs, with the Cardinal running game, against the Washington State defense, is just unfathomable. But Stepfan Taylor was bottled up, finishing with just 58 yards on 21 carries, and Josh Nunes couldn't make the Cougars pay. The Cardinal, though, certainly made Jeff Tuel pay with a program-best 10 sacks. Last week's ranking: 4. Next up: at Colorado, 2 p.m. ET (FX)

4. Arizona  (5-3): A week after a hop, the Wildcats skipped and jumped up the list. That's what a win over USC will do for a team. Rich Rodriguez got an early signature win for his cause as Arizona handed the Trojans a 39-36 defeat after rebounding from a 28-13 deficit. Matt Scott took a licking, did some yakking, then resumed his ticking and completed a clutch touchdown pass to David Richards to give the Wildcats the necessary cushion to hold off a late USC charge. Last week's ranking: 7. Next up: at UCLA, 10:30 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network)

5. No. 10 Southern Cal  (6-2): This is not how Matt Barkley envisioned it when he decided to return for his senior year. Then, it was all roses and sunshine and Heismans. Now, the Trojans are staring at their second defeat, this time at the hands of the scorching hot Wildcats. Barkley and Marqise Lee were brilliant -- Lee's 345 yards were a Pac-12 record -- but apparently that's not enough. How the Trojans respond down the stretch, with looming games against Oregon, UCLA and Notre Dame, could define Barkley's -- and Lane Kiffin's -- career. Last week's ranking: 3. Next up: vs. Oregon, 7 p.m. ET (Fox).

6. UCLA  (6-2): UCLA's thrilling, game-winning win over Arizona State was just the latest shift in the youth movement. Redshirt freshman quarterback Brett Hundley continued his fantastic season with 19 of 29 passing for 274 yards and four touchdowns, including one to true freshman QB-turned-wideout Devin Fuller. Hundley may have been at his best in a game-winning drive to set up true freshman Ka'imi Fairbairn's 33-yard field goal. But the best freshman performance so far? Head coach Jim Mora. Last week's ranking: 6. Next up: vs. Arizona, 10:30 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network)

7. Arizona State (5-3): A Sun Devil defense that was so disciplined for so long has been anything but for the last 10 days. Surrendering 43 points to Oregon is one thing. Heck, if anything, it's pretty good. But letting the baby Bruins put up 45, including a game-winning drive in a minute? Ouch. Upcoming games at Oregon State then USC? Oucher. Last week's ranking: 5. Next up: at Oregon State, 10:35 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

8. Washington (4-4): After a damaging three-game stretch that had some questioning the direction of the program, the Huskies pulled out a huge win over the Beavers. It was frenetic Washington's second win over a top-10 conference foe this season, and now we really don't know what to do with them. If the Huskies could maintain some consistency, they'd be higher on the list. Last week's ranking: 8. Next up: at Cal, Friday, Nov. 2, 9 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

9. Utah (3-5): It wasn't as if the Utes were some offensive juggernaut in their deceiving 49-27 win over Cal. But the other two facets of the game went splendidly for Utah. Reggie Dunn 's two 100-yard kick returns helped offset the Utes 344 total yards, and three forced turnovers helped keep the Bears at bay. Last week's ranking: 10. Next up: vs. Washington State, 3 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network).

10. Cal  (3-6): Oh, Jeff Tedford. Just when the hot seat seemed to be cooling off, it started heating up again. The Bears' 18-point loss to Utah was just the latest defeat in what's been a disappointing season. Cal can't gain any consistency offensively, and until Brendan Bigelow gets more carries, fans are going to continue to froth at the mouth. Last week's ranking: 9. Next up: vs. Washington, Friday, Nov. 2, 9 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

11. Washington State  (2-5): We expected the Washington State offense to get the kudos this late in the year, not the Cougars' defense. But Stanford had one of its lowest yardage performances of the year, and the Washington State offense continues to lag. Why? The 10 sacks had a lot to do with it. Maybe try rushing for more than negative-16 yards. Last week's ranking: 12. Next up: at Utah, 3 p.m. (Pac-12)

12. Colorado  (1-6): The three-game Murderer's Row of USC, Oregon and Stanford is two-thirds done. And 66.6 is about right considering it's been hell so far for the Buffaloes. Colorado has been outscored by 100 points the last two weeks. Let's leave it at that. Last week's ranking: 11. Next up: vs. Stanford, 2 p.m. (FX)
