Matt Vierling CF | DET
Tigers' Matt Vierling: Reaches four times in loss
Vierling went 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the Tigers' 4-2 loss to the Phillies on Saturday.
Vierling paced Detroit's lineup from the leadoff spot as he matched his season high in hits. Heading into the All-Star break, the veteran utility player has mostly been working as a short-side platoon partner to James Outman in center field, with Vierling facing Philadelphia ace Cristopher Sanchez on Saturday. Vierling's ability to play other positions as well boosts his fantasy value, though his playing time is likely to remain somewhat sporadic in the second half of the year.

Jonatan Clase LF | TOR
Blue Jays' Jonatan Clase: Goes yard in Saturday's loss
Clase went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, two walks and a second run scored in Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Padres.
Clase has two homers among his four hits over five games since joining the Blue Jays' big-league roster at the start of July, and he's added five RBI. Clase looks to be getting a chance at a starting role in left field -- he's started four straight games there, pushing Myles Straw into more of a reserve role. Clase is a switch hitter, so as long as his bat is hot, he should be able to avoid getting platooned, at least until Jesus Sanchez (ankle) is healthy again.

LaMonte Wade Jr. LF | HOU
Astros' LaMonte Wade: Swats grand slam Saturday
Wade went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in a 9-3 victory versus the Rangers on Saturday.
Wade struck out twice and was subbed out on defense in the seventh inning, but he made a big impact with one swing when he clubbed a grand slam to right field in the third inning. That was the veteran outfielder's second homer in nine games in the majors this season. Since returning from an IL stint caused by a hamstring injury July 4, Wade has started all five of Houston's games against right-handed pitching, so he appears to have a hold on a strong-side platoon role in left field.

Taylor Ward RF | SEA
Orioles' Taylor Ward: Ends power drought in win
Ward went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Royals.
Ward snapped a long homer drought, last leaving the yard June 22 in Anaheim. The veteran outfielder has hit safely in eight of his last nine games amid what's been something of a bizarre season at the plate so far. Ward sports a career-high .385 on-base percentage and is batting a respectable .256 through 434 plate appearances, but his .361 slugging percentage is his lowest mark since 2019 and comes after he slugged a career-high .475 with 36 homers over 157 games for the Angels in 2025.

Ryan Vilade RF | TB
Rays' Ryan Vilade: Crushes home run as pinch hitter
Vilade went 1-for-1 with a three-run homer in Saturday's 6-1 win over Seattle.
Vilade pinch hit for Cedric Mullins in the seventh inning and answered the call by smacking a three-run homer off Gabe Speier to extend the Rays' lead to 5-1. It was the seventh home run of the season for Vilade, four of which have come over his last 11 games. He has a .794 OPS with 31 RBI and three steals across 156 plate appearances this season.

Cam Smith RF | HOU
Astros' Cam Smith: Hitting bench Saturday
Smith isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Texas, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Smith will get a day to reset after going 0-for-11 with a pair of walks across his last three games. Yordan Alvarez, Taylor Trammell and LaMonte Wade will start across Houston's outfield while Smith is on the bench.

Tristan Peters CF | CHW
White Sox's Tristan Peters: Hits for cycle Friday
Peters went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple, a two-run home run, four total RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 14-1 win over the Athletics.
Peters became the third player to hit for the cycle this season, joining Pete Crow-Armstrong and Bryce Harper, and the seventh to do so in franchise history. Furthermore, Peters became the third player since the expansion era (since 1961) to complete the cycle by getting two hits in the same inning, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com. This was Peters' third multi-hit performance since the beginning of July, a span during which he's hitting 12-for-27 (.444) with two homers, three doubles, a triple, five RBI and six runs scored.

Chase DeLauter RF | CLE
Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Launches two-run homer Friday
DeLauter went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.
DeLauter launched his 10th long ball of the season in the fourth inning off Sandy Alcantara, and he's gone yard in three of his last five games. This two-hit performance also extended his current hitting streak to six games, with four multi-hit efforts and a .416 average (10-for-24) over that stretch.

Wilyer Abreu RF | BOS
Red Sox's Wilyer Abreu: Smacks late homer vs. NYM
Abreu went 3-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and an additional run scored during Friday's 6-2 win over the Mets.
Abreu came home to score in the first inning on a two-run double from Masataka Yoshida, and the former gave the Red Sox insurance runs with a two-run homer in the ninth. It was Abreu's first home run since June 23 and his 11th of the season, which is third-most on the Red Sox. He has a .772 OPS with six steals, 43 RBI and 34 extra-base hits across 392 plate appearances this season.

Jac Caglianone RF | KC
Royals' Jac Caglianone: Cracks 15th homer of 2026
Caglianone went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Friday's 5-3 loss to Baltimore.
Caglianone put the Royals on the board in the fourth inning with a solo homer off Brandon Young. It was the 15th long ball of the season for Caglianone and his first since June 23 against the Rays, when he smacked two homers. The 23-year-old outfielder has gone 7-for-31 with four extra-base hits, five RBI and four runs scored over his last seven games and a .789 OPS across 341 plate appearances this season.
