  • Owen Caissie RF | MIA

Marlins' Owen Caissie: Belts 11th homer

Caissie went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's win over the A's.

The Marlins took advantage of a trip to Sutter Health Park in Sacramento by launching five homers on the night, including Caissie's 390-foot shot the other way to left-center field in the ninth inning off Mason Barnett. Five of Caissie's 11 homers on the season have come in his last 15 games, a stretch in which he's slashing an impressive .357/.396/.762 with 10 runs and 14 RBI.

  • Jakob Marsee CF | MIA

Marlins' Jakob Marsee: Swats fifth homer

Marsee went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's win over the A's.

The Marlins took advantage of a trip to Sutter Health Park in Sacramento by launching five homers on the night, including Marsee's shot off Jack Perkins in the first inning. Marsee snapped a 12-game power drought with the blast, and since the beginning of June he's managed a meager .170/.291/.277 slash line with two of his five long balls on the season, along with four steals, six RBI and 11 runs in 28 contests.

  • Marlins' Heriberto Hernandez: Smacks three-run shot

Hernandez went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Friday's win over the A's.

Hernandez launched his first homer since June 23 with a three-run shot in the top of the first inning to give the Marlins a five-run lead. He's up to nine homers on the year, with seven of those coming since the beginning of June -- a stretch in which he's hitting .250 with an .867 OPS.

  • Kyle Stowers 1B | MIA

Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Goes yard twice

Stowers went 4-for-5 with two home runs, three total RBI and three runs scored in Friday's win over the Athletics.

Stowers launched a solo blast in the top of the sixth inning and later added a two-run shot in the eighth, giving him 10 on the year. This was Stowers' third multi-hit performance over his last seven games, as he's hitting .379 with a 1.179 OPS over that span. It also snapped a 10-game homerless stretch for Stowers.

  • Daylen Lile LF | WAS

Nationals' Daylen Lile: Big power display in Friday's win

Lile went 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs and four RBI in Friday's 9-5 win over the Pirates.

The Nationals launched five homers in total on the night, with Lile and Luis Garcia both going yard twice. Lile's blasts came off Mitch Keller in the second inning and Isaac Mattson in the eighth. The long balls snapped a 23-game power drought for the 23-year-old outfielder, but Lile's bat had been showing signs of life before Friday -- he has four multi-hit performances in his last eight games, batting .333 (10-for-30) over that stretch with four doubles, six runs and six RBI.

  • Jake Mangum CF | PIT

Pirates' Jake Mangum: Swipes two bags in loss

Mangum went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases in Friday's 9-5 loss to the Nationals.

The 30-year-old continues to produce as the Pirates' regular center fielder while Oneil Cruz (hand) is on the IL. Mangum has delivered multiple hits in three straight games, and over 21 contests since Cruz went down he's slashing .358/.388/.432 with six doubles, five steals, five RBI and 10 runs. Cruz isn't expected back until the latter part of July after the All-Star break, so Mangum has at least another week-plus to play regularly.

  • Pirates' Esmerlyn Valdez: Stays hot in Friday's loss

Valdez went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's 9-5 loss to the Nationals.

The rookie outfielder extended his hitting streak to eight games with the performance, a stretch in which Valdez is batting a blistering .552 (16-for-29) with eight extra-base hits (three doubles, a triple and four homers), nine runs and 10 RBI. His current playing time in right field is coming while Oneil Cruz (hand) and Spencer Horwitz (hamstring) are on the shelf, but it's going to be hard for manager Derek Shelton to sit Valdez down if he's still raking when the Pirates' roster gets healthier.

  • Brewers' Garrett Mitchell: Goes yard in win

Mitchell went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Friday's 7-4 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks.

Mitchell opened the scoring with a second-inning blast. He's homered in consecutive contests and has gone 8-for-15 with five extra-base hits and five RBI over his last four games. The outfielder is batting .265 with an .824 OPS, eight homers, 42 RBI, 37 runs scored and six stolen bases over 76 contests this season. He continues to see a strong-side platoon role in center field, though he has made seven starts versus left-handed pitchers since the beginning of June.

  • Padres' Jackson Merrill: Homers again in loss

Merrill went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Merrill has homered in consecutive contests and has hit safely in six of his last seven games. The outfielder has provided more all-around quality lately, going 20-for-83 (.241) with seven extra-base hits and eight stolen bases over his last 20 games. Overall, he's batting .215 with a .634 OPS, 10 homers, 18 steals, 33 RBI, 38 runs scored, 15 doubles and one triple over 84 contests.

  • Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Lifts grand slam in win

Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Friday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

Hernandez came up clutch in the seventh inning, and his grand slam was enough to give the Dodgers a win. He has gone just 3-for-16 with five RBI over four games since he returned from a hamstring strain. The veteran outfielder is now batting .269 with a .772 OPS, eight homers, 36 RBI, 33 runs scored, two stolen bases and eight doubles over 55 contests this season.
