John Marino D | UTA
Mammoth's John Marino: Pots empty-netter
Marino scored a shorthanded empty-net goal on two shots, blocked four shots and went plus-3 in Friday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.
Marino's second goal of the season helped the Mammoth secure this win. The 28-year-old blueliner has four points and a plus-9 rating over his last six contests. He's at 14 points in 29 appearances, matching his output from 35 games a year ago. Marino has added 29 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating in a steady top-four role this year.

Mikhail Sergachev D | UTA
Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: Goal, assist in win
Sergachev scored a power-play goal, dished an assist, logged two hits, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Friday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.
The goal was Sergachev's first since Nov. 5 in Toronto, and this was his first multi-point effort since he had two assists in Minnesota on Oct. 25. Prior to Friday, Sergachev had logged just two helpers over his previous nine outings. The defenseman is up to four goals, 19 points (eight on the power play), 62 shots on net, 49 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 29 appearances in a top-pairing role.

Nick Leddy D | SJ
Sharks' Nick Leddy: First point since return
Leddy logged an assist in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Stars.
This was Leddy's first point since he was activated from injured reserve Nov. 10 after dealing with an upper-body injury. He's played in just four of the Sharks' last 13 games as the team navigates balancing minutes on a crowded blue line. For the season, Leddy is at three helpers, four shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 11 appearances. He doesn't look likely to be a regular in San Jose, which makes him a non-factor in fantasy.

Miro Heiskanen D | DAL
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Fills empty cage
Heiskanen scored an empty-net goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.
Heiskanen has three points, including two goals, over his last two games. The 26-year-old defenseman has been resurgent on offense this year while maintaining all of his usual shutdown duties on defense. He's matched last year's scoring numbers -- five goals, 20 helpers -- in just 29 outings this season compared to 50 during the 2024-25 regular season. Heiskanen has added 67 shots on net, 46 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating so far. At this pace, a 70-point campaign is within the reasonable range of outcomes if Heiskanen stays healthy.

Ryan Ufko D | NSH
Predators' Ryan Ufko: Picks up trio of points
Ufko scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Milwaukee's 6-4 loss to Chicago on Friday.
Ufko has two goals and five assists during a five-game point streak. He's had two really good stretches this season, sandwiched around a quiet run. He's at six goals, 20 points, 37 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 19 appearances. He had just 30 points in 72 regular-season outings a year ago, and it seems to be only a matter of time before the Predators give him a look at the NHL level.

Cameron Reid D | NSH
Predators' Cameron Reid: Three-point effort Friday
Reid scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Kitchener's 6-3 win over Peterborough on Friday.
Reid has five goals and three assists over his last six outings. The Nashville prospect has found a bit more consistency on offense after struggling in that regard for much of November. On the year, he has eight goals and 17 helpers through 26 appearances. The 2025 first-round pick has grown his offense while remaining steady in his own zone so far in 2025-26.
-
Justin Barron D | NSH
Predators' Justin Barron: Shifted to IR
Barron (lower body) was designated for injured reserve Friday and is considered week-to-week.
Barron has already been out of action for the Preds' last seven contests and doesn't appear to be close to returning. Considering the 24-year-old blueliner has managed just four points in 19 outings this year, his absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy managers. Even once given the all-clear, Barron could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically.
-
John Carlson D | WAS
Capitals' John Carlson: Out Friday
Carlson (upper body) will miss Friday's game against Anaheim, per Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.
Carlson was also absent for Wednesday's 7-1 win over San Jose. He has six goals and 23 points in 26 outings in 2025-26. Declan Chisholm is projected to play in his second straight game due to Carlson's injury.

Jacob Bernard-Docker D | DET
Red Wings' Jacob Bernard-Docker: Lacking offense in part-time role
Bernard-Docker's point drought is up to 10 games after he was held scoreless in Thursday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Bernard-Docker has been scratched 12 times during his drought, though he has played in seven of the last 12 contests. The 25-year-old is competing with Travis Hamonic for the last spot on the blue line, leading to minimal fantasy appeal for both players. Bernard-Docker is at one assist, 20 shots on net, 15 hits, 15 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 15 appearances this season.

Moritz Seider D | DET
Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Posts pair of helpers
Seider notched two assists, four blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Seider has five points, including a pair of power-play helpers, over two games in December. He had the same number of points over his last seven games in November. The 24-year-old has been fairly productive all season, but he's heating up currently. The German blueliner has four goals, 21 points (10 on the power play), 68 shots on net, 58 blocked shots, 49 hits, 29 PIM and a plus-7 rating over 28 appearances in what's shaping up as a career year on offense.
