You all know by now about Sergio Garcia's comments about Tiger Woods. I've weighed in, colleague Gregg Doyel weighed in, heck, even Tiger weighed in.

But now some people Garcia probably doesn't want weighing in are commenting. TaylorMade-Adidas released the following press release about Garcia's comments via email:

"Sergio Garcia’s recent comment was offensive and in no way aligns with TaylorMade-Adidas Golf’s values and corporate culture. We have spoken with Sergio directly and he clearly has regret for his statement and we believe he is sincere. We discussed with Sergio that his comments are clearly out of bounds and we are continuing to review the matter."

It's the last sentence that should worry Garcia.

In 1997 when a similar situation happened with Fuzzy Zoeller, his biggest sponsor at the time (Kmart) deliberated for a bit before deciding to drop him.

Will the same thing happen with Garcia?

Stay tuned.
