It is very likely that you recall this moment from Game 1 of the 2013 NLCS between the Dodgers and the Cardinals ... 

That's of course Hanley Ramirez, then of the Dodgers, taking one in the ribs courtesy of Joe Kelly, then of the Cardinals. As it turns out the two are now teammates on the Red Sox. Kelly was dealt to Boston just prior to last season's non-waiver trade deadline, and Ramirez this winter inked a four-year, $88 million free-agent contract with the Sox. 

This week, these two 2013 NLCS combatants met again ... 

There's Mr. Ramirez and his pythons -- pythons that you can't buy in a pet store -- possibly in the early moments of what will turn out to be a life-imperiling rear-naked choke. And there's Joe Kelly and his championship Wendy Peffercorn t-shirt being reminded that there's at least a little truth in every joke.
