Here's what's up with what's going down in Major League Baseball as of Tuesday night:

When the Toronto Blue Jays and Alex Anthopoulos parted ways after the 2015 season, most expected him to be employed again before long. Anthopoulos tells the Canadian Press that the time is close.

"I'm getting there and come next month, come January, I'll work again," Anthopoulos said. "Most likely for a team but it's not 100 percent. There were some media opportunities that came up that were interesting just from a quality of life standpoint. ... But then the more I thought about it, it's most likely I'll stay in baseball. Just because I've done it so long and I'm still young in my baseball career. I don't think I'm prepared to walk away."

Anthopoulos added that he'd be "OK" if he doesn't get another opportunity to fill a general manager position.
