White Sox right-hander Gavin Floyd lost a no-hit bid against the Red Sox on Sunday when Dustin Pedroia, with one out in the seventh, bounced a single past the outstretched glove of second baseman Eduardo Escobar.

Floyd's near miss, of course, comes barely a week after teammate Philip Humber spun a perfect game against Seattle.
