Dodgers' Kody Hoese: Earns camp invite
Hoese was invited to join the Dodgers' major-league camp Tuesday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Hoese will get to work out with the team's big-league coaching staff for a few weeks but is unlikely to join them on a permanent basis this season. The 25th overall pick in 2019, Hoese projects to hit for at least a decent amount of both average and power, but he's only played 41 games as a professional due to last year's canceled minor-league campaign.

Hoese was added to the Dodgers' 60-man roster Tuesday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
The Dodgers' 2019 first-round pick was left off the team's initial 60-man roster, but he'll be added to the player pool for developmental purposes ahead of the regular season. The 23-year-old hit .299/.380/.483 with five home runs and 29 RBI in the minors last year.
