Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Does it all in heart-breaking loss
Ingram contributed 30 points (10-19 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and one block over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 123-118 Play-In Game loss to the Thunder.
After the Pelicans blew a substantial lead, Ingram almost single-handedly carried his team to stay in contention, using his floor-stretching ability to make dynamic plays all over the court. The loss finishes up a successful season despite a rash of injuries that forced him to miss 37 games. Ingram finished with a career-best 24.7 points per game over 45 contests.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Passes 40-point mark in finale
Ingram finished with 42 points (16-28 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block across 42 minutes during Sunday's 113-108 loss to Minnesota.
While many of the NBA's top players rested in the season finales for all teams, Ingram ended up taking on his normal minutes and then some Sunday while the Pelicans still had playoff positioning at stake. Though the Pelicans ultimately fell short, Ingram ultimately came through with a big performance to close out the regular season. The 42 points were a season high for Ingram, whose 9-for-9 showing from the line also boosted his season-long rate to a career-best 88.2 percent, good for 16th in the NBA among qualifiers. Ingram and the Pelicans will be back in action Wednesday versus the Thunder in a win-or-go-home game in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Ties season-high mark in assists
Ingram finished Wednesday's 138-131 overtime victory over the Grizzlies with 24 points (7-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-12 FT), 13 assists, six rebounds, two steals and one block across 46 minutes.
Though he finished right around his season-long average of 24.5 points per game, Ingram surprisingly ranked fourth on the team in scoring Wednesday on a night that all of CJ McCollum, Trey Murphy and Herbert Jones cleared the 30-point threshold. Despite taking more of a backseat than usual in the scoring department, Ingram delivered the goods for fantasy managers by tying his season-best assist total and contributing in both defensive categories. Since returning from a two-game absence in mid-March, Ingram has scored no fewer than 22 points in any of the Pelicans' subsequent 12 games and is also chipping in averages of 8.3 assists, 6.1 rebounds, 1.3 three-pointers, 0.7 steals and 0.5 blocks while shooting 51 percent from the field and 88.9 percent from the charity stripe.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Powers teams with 36 points
Ingram closed Saturday's 122-114 victory over the Clippers with 36 points (13-23 FG, 10-11 FT), eight assists and four rebounds over 39 minutes.
Ingram eschewed the three-point line entirely and topped 30 points for the fifth time in his past seven games, leading the Pelicans to a much-needed victory. Having won seven of their past nine games, the Pelicans are now only a half-game behind the Clippers for the sixth seed in the Western Conference as both teams look to avoid landing in the Play-In Tournament. With Zion Williamson (hamstring) on track miss the remainder of the regular season, Ingram should continue to churn out hefty stats as the Pelicans' clear No. 1 option over the final four games of the 2022-23 campaign.

Over his past eight appearances, the veteran forward has averaged 29.6 points, 8.3 assists and 6.3 rebounds with 51/48/92 shooting splits and is single-handedly keeping the Pelicans in the playoff picture with Zion Williamson's (hamstring) potential return looming.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Paces team with 26 points
Ingram notched 26 points (9-22 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-7 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and one block across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 120-109 loss to Golden State.
The Pelicans ran a nine-man rotation, giving Ingram maximum time on the floor in the loss. He played a big part in pushing his team out to a huge lead, scoring 18 points in the first half. Though he continued to produce nicely in the final two quarters and approached a triple-double, Ingram couldn't offset a horrible defensive performance from his team in the second half as the Warriors claimed a comeback win.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Leading scorer in blowout win
Ingram closed Tuesday's 119-84 victory over the Spurs with 32 points (10-16 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 10-10 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and one block in 31 minutes.
Ingram missed a pair of games in mid-March due to an ankle injury but has been on a tear since returning to the court, averaging 27.8 points, 7.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 36.5 minutes per game over his last four appearances. While he saw a decrease in playing time Wednesday due to the lopsided score, he was efficient from the floor and led the Pelicans on the scoreboard. The 25-year-old hasn't appeared to be bothered by his ankle injury in recent games, and he should remain heavily involved down the stretch.
