Jaguars' Zay Jones: Won't play Sunday
Jones (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Texans.
After gathering in five of seven passes for 55 yards and one touchdown in a Week 1 win at Indianapolis, Jones was blanked on six targets this past Sunday against the Chiefs. On Monday, coach Doug Pederson revealed that Jones was dealing with a knee injury, leaving the wide receiver day-to-day. Jones proceeded to log no practice reps Wednesday through Friday before the Jaguars made a ruling on his Week 3 availability, so his status may be more of a week-to-week proposition at this point.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Still not practicing
Jones (knee) didn't participate in Thursday's practice, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Jones didn't practice Wednesday, so what the wideout is able to do Friday will be pivotal with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Texans. If he's out or limited this weekend, Jamal Agnew and Tim Jones would be candidates to log added snaps at wide receiver behind Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Won't practice Wednesday
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Wednesday that Jones (knee) won't practice but remains day-to-day, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Jones sustained a knee injury during Jacksonville's loss to the Chiefs in Week 2, though he was able to return to the contest after initially leaving in the first half. In the event that Jones isn't able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Texans, Pederson confirmed that Tim Jones will be the next man up to serve as Jacksonville's No. 3 wideout behind Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Dealing with knee injury
Coach Doug Pederson said Jones is considered day-to-day with a knee injury and will undergo further testing Monday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Jones briefly left Sunday's game against the Chiefs in the first half with a knee issue but returned and ended up playing 66 percent of the team's offensive snaps. However, he failed to record a reception on six targets. Further clarity on Jones' injury should surface Wednesday, when the Jaguars have to release their first injury report of Week 3.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Nothing on six targets
Jones failed to record a catch on six targets during Sunday's 17-9 loss to the Chiefs.
The 28-year-old left the contest during the first half with a knee issue but returned to the field, and he ended up playing 66 percent of Jacksonville's offensive snaps after he played 88 percent Week 1. Jones couldn't get on the same page with QB Trevor Lawrence, and the veteran finished without a catch for the first time in 20 games (including playoffs) since joining the Jags. Jones remains a key piece of the offense but is likely to be a volatile fantasy option with Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk operating as the top targets in the passing game.
