Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Could return to practice this week
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that it is "looking more likely than not" Ferguson (ankle) will practice this week, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Ferguson has been on injured reserve since Oct. 2, but he appears to be inching closer to returning to the Rams' tight end mix. Prior to his injury, the 2025 second-rounder had turned in a 7/63/1 receiving line in three contests. In Ferguson's absence, Tyler Higbee has been working as the team's top pass-catching TE, with Colby Parkinson (ribs) and Davis Allen also in the mix.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Won't return in Week 8
Ferguson (ankle) won't return to practice this week, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.
Coach Sean McVay revealed that Ferguson's practice window to return from injured reserve won't open during Week 8 prep. Ferguson has missed the minimum four games while on IR due to an ankle sprain, and for as long as he's sidelined, the Rams will continue to roll with Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen at tight end.

Ferguson (ankle), who is eligible to come off injured reserve next week, isn't expected to be ready at that time, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Ferguson, who was placed on injured reserve in advance of Week 4 action, will be eligible to return in Week 8 against the Chargers. However, it appears as though the tight end's return isn't imminent, with Schefter's report suggesting that Ferguson's recovery "will take some time." Ferguson (ankle) is expected to be ready to return after his four-game stint on injured reserve, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Ferguson was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 4 and will be eligible to return in Week 8 against the Chargers. Ferguson sprained his ankle last Sunday night against the Broncos and didn't practice at all this week, so this comes as no surprise. If Colby Parkinson (shoulder/knee) can play through his injuries, the Rams would be in better shape at tight end. If not, Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen figure to see heavy snaps against the Eagles.

Ferguson (ankle) officially didn't practice Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Ferguson had X-rays performed on his ankle during this past Sunday's game at Denver, and while he was able to return to the game, he finished fourth among Rams right ends in offensive snaps (22 of 86). On Monday, coach Sean McVay told Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register that Ferguson "likely" will be out this coming Sunday in Philadelphia, so his lack of reps Wednesday doesn't come as a surprise. Colby Parkinson (shoulder) also was a DNP on the first Week 4 injury report, so L.A.'s current healthy tight ends on the active roster are Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and Max Klare.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Likely out for Week 4
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Ferguson "likely" will be sidelined for Sunday's game in Philadelphia, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Ferguson missed a portion of Sunday's loss at Denver to get X-rays on an ankle injury, and while he was cleared to return, he finished fourth among Rams tight ends in offensive snaps (22 of 86) behind Tyler Higbee (61), Colby Parkinson (37) and Davis Allen (31). Through three games this season, Ferguson had a 6-54-1 line on nine targets in Week 2 versus the Giants and one catch (on three targets) for nine yards in the other two contests. Now that he's slated to miss some time, the aforementioned trio likely will handle the bulk of the TE workload for L.A., though rookie Max Klare might finally see his first offensive plays.
