  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Misses 47-yard attempt

Koo made two of three field-goal attempts and didn't attempt a point-after try during Sunday's 20-6 loss to the Lions.

Koo has missed a kick in back-to-back games. He missed a point-after try in Week 2 versus Green Bay and pulled a 47-yard field-goal attempt wide left during Sunday's double-digit loss. Since becoming a full-time starter in 2020, Koo has missed just 16 kicks. However, nine of those have come over his last 20 appearances. It's not time to hit the panic button just yet, as Koo has been resilient after wayward stretches in his career.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Makes game-winning kick

Koo made one of his two extra-point tries and all four of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's 25-24 win over the Packers.

Koo made a 24-yard field goal in the first quarter to open the scoring, but he missed an extra-point attempt after a Drake London touchdown in the second quarter. The veteran kicker bounced back in a big way in the second half and connected on all three of his field-goal attempts, including a go-ahead 25-yarder with under a minute left in the game. Despite the missed PAT, Koo remains a consistent and effective kicker in reality and fantasy.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Perfect in Week 1

Koo made his lone field-goal attempt and all three of his point-after tries during Sunday's 24-10 win over the Panthers.

Koo tied the game at 10 with a 49-yard field goal in the third quarter, but that was his only field-goal try, as the Falcons' offense was efficient in Carolina's territory. The undrafted kicker got off to a shaky start during the preseason, missing two extra-point attempts in the opener, but as expected, Koo was solid in the regular-season opener and remains one of the more reliable kickers in the league.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Shaky start to preseason

Koo made two of his four extra-point tries and both of his field-goal attempts across three preseason games.

Koo got off to a shaky start in the preseason, missing two of his three extra-point tries in the opener. However, he was able to settle down in the second exhibition and made all three of his kicks, including field goals from 36 and 45 yards. Koo didn't get an attempt in the preseason finale, as Atlanta's offense was blanked by Pittsburgh. Despite the early struggles, Koo's job remains safe, as he's been one of the more reliable kickers over the past four seasons. He could also see a boost in fantasy value this year if the Falcons' improved offense is able to live up to the hype with first-time starter Desmond Ridder at the helm.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Perfect in Week 18 win

Koo went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 3-for-3 on extra points during Sunday's 30-17 win versus the Buccaneers.

Koo gave the Falcons a 10-7 lead at the end of the first quarter with a 49-yard field goal and added a 24-yard chip shot in the third to cut Tampa Bay's lead to 17-13. The kicker ended the campaign by connecting on a 51-yard attempt that extended Atlanta's lead to 30-17 late in the fourth quarter. After a shaky start to the campaign, Koo turned it around and made 16 of his final 17 FG attempts, with his lone miss coming from beyond 50 yards. He also made all 11 of his PATs during that seven-game stretch. Koo signed a five-year extension in March of 2022 and has more than solidified himself as a consistent and effective kicker over his four seasons in Atlanta.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Game-winning kick in Week 17

Koo made both field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries during Sunday's 20-19 win over Arizona.

Koo connected on a 27-yard attempt early in the fourth quarter to give Atlanta a 17-16 lead and ended Week 17 with a game-winning, 21-yard field goal as time expired to secure a 20-19 win. Across 16 appearances, the fifth-year kicker has made 29 of 34 field-goal attempts, with four of his five misses coming from beyond 50 yards.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Perfect in loss

Koo converted all three of his field-goal attempts during Saturday's 17-9 loss to the Ravens.

Koo put the Falcons on the board with a 32-yard field goal to end the first half, cutting Baltimore's lead to 14-3. He added a 34-yard field goal in the third quarter and a 37-yarder in the fourth, marking the fifth time that he's made at least three field goals in a game this season. Koo clearly benefitted Saturday from Desmond Ridder's struggles in the red zone, but the kicker's overall potential moving forward has to be limited given the Falcons have failed to score 20 or more points in six of their last seven matchups.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Quiet outing in loss

Koo connected on his lone field-goal attempt and only point-after try during Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Saints.

Koo opened the scoring for the Falcons with a 28-yard field goal in the second quarter. He added an extra point following Tyler Allgeier's five-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but Koo stayed on the sidelines after Cordarrelle Patterson's score in the fourth, as Atlanta opted to go for a two-point conversion to cut New Orleans' lead to three. Across 14 appearances, Koo is 24 of 29 on field-goal attempts, with four of his misses coming from beyond 50 yards.

  • Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Nails two long field goals in loss

Koo connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and made his lone point-after try during Sunday's 19-16 loss to Pittsburgh.

Koo put the Falcons on the board with a 50-yard field goal in the second quarter and added a 51-yard make on the Falcons' next offensive drive. He also connected on a 28-yard chip shot to cut Atlanta's lead to 19-16 in the fourth quarter. Coming into the contest, Koo was just 4-for-8 on field-goal attempts from beyond 50 yards, so connecting on two of them in one game is certainly a major confidence boost for the fifth-year kicker.
