Giants' Dee Williams: Picked up by Big Blue
Rotowire
The Giants claimed Williams off waivers Friday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Williams, who was waived by the Seahawks on Thursday, appeared in all 12 of Seattle's games before being waived, recording 254 kick-return and 111 punt-return yards while playing almost strictly on special teams (four defensive snaps and 131 on special teams). Seahawks' Dee Williams: Passes physical
Rotowire
Williams (undisclosed) passed his physical Friday.
Seattle just placed Williams on its NFI list Thursday, but he's evidently already back in shape for football activities. He played defensive back at Tennessee, so if he did find an immediate role with the Seahawks, it would probably be as a kick/punt returner.
