Connor Galvin: Works out with 49ers
Galvin (knee) tried out with the 49ers on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Galvin has now recovered from the torn MCL that landed him on Detroit's injured reserve last August. The 25-year-old hasn't appeared in a game since the 2023 season but will look to catch on with the 49ers following his workout.

Connor Galvin: Waived/injured by Detroit
Galvin (knee) was waived/injured by the Lions on Sunday.
The offensive tackle is out for the season after suffering a torn MCL during Detroit's preseason game against the Giants on Thursday. Galvin signed with the Lions after going undrafted in 2023 and played in one regular-season game last year.

Lions' Connor Galvin: Goes to IR
Galvin (knee) reverted to Detroit's injured reserve list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Lions waived Galvin with an injury designation Sunday, so he'll now go to their injured reserve list after clearing waivers. He's expected to remain there for the rest of the year as he recovers from a torn MCL.

Lions' Connor Galvin: Out for season
Galvin suffered a torn MCL in Thursday's preseason loss against the Giants and will require season-ending surgery, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The second-year offensive tackle was carted off to the locker room during Detroit's preseason opener. He'll now have to focus on next season after making one regular-season appearance for the Lions last season with seven special-teams snaps.

Lions' Connor Galvin: Injures knee Thursday
Galvin suffered a knee injury in Thursday night's preseason loss to the Giants, Justin Rogers of DetroitFootball.net reports.
Galvin was rolled up on and eventually carted to the locker room. Rogers suspects it's a likely long-term injury for the backup tackle. Galvin made one appearance for the Lions last season, playing seven special-teams snaps.
