It's been 11 days since Ivey was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list, and he's now in the clear for his 2024 season debut. Look for the second-year player to take on a depth role in the Cincinnati secondary and potentially a role on special teams.

Bengals' DJ Ivey: Activated off PUP list
The Bengals activated Ivey (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday.
Ivey opened the regular season on the reserve/PUP list while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in December of 2023. His 21-day practice window opened Oct. 9, and given that he was a full participant in all three practices this week, he should be available to make his 2024 regular-season debut against the Browns on Sunday. The 2023 seventh-round pick appeared in eight regular-season games for Cincinnati in his rookie year, and he finished with three solo tackles, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery.

Bengals' DJ Ivey: Gets back to practice
Ivey (knee) was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday.
Ivey opened camp on the PUP list as he continued to recover from a torn ACL suffered in Week 15 last season. The 24-year-old now has a 21-day window to practice with the team before needing to be placed on the 53-man roster. Considering the amount of time he has missed, it's likely the Bengals may make use of most of that time, getting Ivey back up to speed.

The Bengals placed Ivey on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday.
Ivey continues to recover from a torn ACL injury he suffered in Week 15 against the Vikings. The 2023 seventh-round pick will be forced to miss the first four games of the regular season, and the earliest he would be able to return is Week 5 against the Ravens.

Ivey ended last season on IR due to an ACL injury he suffered Week 15 versus Minnesota, and the cornerback isn't yet fully recovered. He can be activated off the PUP list at any time during the preseason, at which point he'd be eligible to practice and play in exhibition contests.

Ivey suffered an ACL injury in Saturday's win over the Vikings, which will end his rookie campaign early. The 23-year-old had mostly worked on special teams thus far in his career, so his absence in the final weeks of the Bengals' season shouldn't impact the secondary. Ivey will now turn his focus to being ready for the 2024 campaign.

Ivey injured his left knee while on punt coverage and will not return to Saturday's game against the Vikings.
Ivey, a seventh-round rookie pick out of Miami, had started to play more as of late on defense while also being the "gunner" on punt coverage. He had to be carted off the field with what looked to be a significant injury.
