  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Returns to practice Thursday

Dulin (ankle) was a full participant in practice Thursday.

Dulin practiced for the first time since suffering an ankle injury that kept him out the past two games. While the 29-year-old split time on offense and special teams in Week 1, he could see more reps in the former capacity Sunday as a depth piece with Alec Pierce (heel, IR) unavailable. However, Keenan Allen (groin), Josh Downs, and Laquon Treadwell should still see reps before the eighth-year pro, although a downgrade on the part of Allen would bump Dulin up another notch on the depth chart.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Not practicing Wednesday

Dulin (ankle) is not practicing Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Dulin has missed the past two games, and his practice week ahead of Week 4 is off on the wrong foot. With Alec Pierce (heel/IR) also out last Sunday against the Texans, the Colts used a three-wide set of Laquon Treadwell, Josh Downs and Keenan Allen.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Won't play against Houston

Dulin (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Dulin will be sidelined for a second consecutive week due to an ankle injury, which also prevented him from participating in any practices during Week 3 prep. Alec Piece (heel) will also be sidelined, leaving Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, Darius Slayton, Laquon Treadwell and Deion Burks as the healthy wide receivers on the Colts' active roster heading into Sunday' AFC South showdown.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Not practicing again Thursday

Dulin (ankle) did not practice Thursday.

Dulin didn't suit up for the 33-30 overtime loss to the Chiefs in Week 2 due to an ankle injury. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, so he's currently not trending favorably toward a return for Sunday's meeting against Houston. If Dulin can't play in Week 3, Seth McGowan could see more return duties on special teams. That would also apply to Anthony Gould, assuming he gets elevated off the practice squad once again. There's also a chance both players could see additional action on the receiving end, considering Alec Pierce is battling a heel issue, jeopardizing his availability versus the Texans.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Not at practice Wednesday

Dulin (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Dulin was unable to suit up for the Colts' 33-30 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Sunday due to an ankle injury. The wide receiver and kick returner was listed as week-to-week with the issue, meaning if Dulin cannot upgrade to at least limited practice participation by Friday, there is a strong chance the 29-year-old will miss the Week 3 game against the Texans as well.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Won't suit up versus Kansas City

Dulin (ankle) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.

Dulin won't suit up versus the Chiefs, with head coach Shane Steichen labeling the wideout as "week-to-week." While Dulin is sidelined, Seth McGowan should handle most of the return duties. Laquon Treadwell also figures to see extra playing time behind Josh Downs, Keenan Allen and Alec Pierce (heel).

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Doesn't practice Thursday

Dulin (ankle) did not practice Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Dulin missed a second consecutive practice Thursday because of an ankle injury. The 29-year-old wideout was held without a catch in Sunday's 41-23 loss to the Ravens. He also saw action as a member of special teams, as expected. If Dulin can't suit up for the Week 2 meeting with the Chiefs, Seth McGowan may be even busier returning kicks.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Dulin (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Dulin likely suffered his ankle injury in the Colts' 41-23 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. The wide receiver is the team's starting kick returner and second punt returner as well as the No. 4 option on offense. If Dulin must miss time due to injury, the Colts will have many holes in the roster to fill. The franchise will likely elevate someone from the practice squad to help manage the load on special teams in the event Dulin is ruled out of next Sunday's contest against the Chiefs.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Ticketed for backup role

Dulin may play more on special teams after the Colts signed Keenan Allen this summer, Nathan Brown of The Indianapolis Star reports.

A thin depth chart put Dulin in position for a top-three role, but the Colts now hope to have Allen, Alec Pierce (ankle) and Josh Downs (calf) all ready for Week 1. In all likelihood, Dulin is merely competing with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for the No. 4 WR role at this point.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Competing for expanded role

Dulin has impressed at OTAs and mandatory minicamp and is making a push for the No. 3 wide receiver role behind Alec Pierce (ankle) and Josh Downs, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Dulin said his approach has been "attacking [the offseason] as if it's my first year, knowing that, that [No. 3] spot is open." After the Colts traded Michael Pittman to Pittsburgh, Stephen Holder of ESPN concurs Dulin has taken an early lead for the No. 3 role over Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Laquon Treadwell and rookie seventh-round pick Deion Burks and was a standout at minicamp. Offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said Dulin has been moving around the offensive formation at practice and "can be really good for us this year on offense." The 29-year-old totaled a 5-106-0 line across 12 regular-season appearances in 2025 and has topped 200 receiving yards just once in his career.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Held without a catch in finale

Dulin could not secure either of his two targets during Sunday's 38-30 season-finale loss to Houston.

Dulin suited up for 12 regular-season appearances with the Colts in 2025, during which span he secured five of 10 targets for 106 receiving yards and logged three carries for 44 rushing yards. He also compiled a career-high 516 yards as a kick returner. He has one more year on his contract with Indianapolis, though the team has a potential "out" this offseason for only $670,000 in dead cap.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Ready to face Jags

Dulin (hamstring) has had his injury designation removed for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.

Dulin was initially listed as questionable to play Sunday, but after being activated from IR on Saturday he's now had that designation removed entirely. He'll be available to operate as a depth option in Indianapolis' wide receiver corps versus the Jaguars as well as to contribute on kick returns due to Anthony Gould (foot) having been placed on IR.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Returns from IR, still Q

Dulin (hamstring) has been activated from injured reserve Saturday and remains questionable for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars.

Dulin is now eligible to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against Jacksonville, though his status may not be made official until roughly 90 minutes prior to the contest's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If cleared to play in Week 17, expect Dulin to resume handling his usual depth role on offense while also contributing in the return game.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Set to return to practice

The Colts designated Dulin (hamstring) for return from IR on Wednesday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.

Dulin landed on injured reserve Nov. 25 due to a hamstring injury. He's since missed the required four games and, with his designation to return, is eligible to be activated at any time. Indianapolis has 21 days to decide whether to activate Dulin, but he could play as soon as this Sunday against the Dolphins. Prior to getting hurt, he had a minor role in the passing game and was also serving as one of the team's top kick returners.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Sent to IR with hamstring injury

The Colts placed Dulin (hamstring) on injured reserve Tuesday.

It's unclear when Dulin suffered the injury, but he'll now be required to miss at least the Colts' next four contests. Through 10 games this season, Dulin has logged a 5-106-0 receiving line on 132 offensive snaps while also seeing 161 snaps on special teams. Anthony Gould and Laquon Treadwell are next up on the depth chart behind Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce and slot man Josh Downs.
