Kayla Harrison Biography
Kayla Harrison

Harrison has an elite combat pedigree, transitioning to a mixed martial arts career after a Judo career that saw her become the only American to win a gold medal in the competition at the Olympics in history. After plying her trade in the cage at lightweight, Harrison transitioned to bantamweight to fit into the UFC’s existing weight classes. It only took Harrison three UFC fights to capture the bantamweight title, defeating former champions Holly Holm and Julianna Pena on her way to the gold.
