Vikings' Bobby Evans: Kicked to curb by Minnesota
Evans was released by the Vikings on Thursday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Evans was signed by the Vikings on July 24 after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Rams, but he has since been released. The 2019 third-round pick appeared in 35 games (12 starts) for Los Angeles throughout his career.

Vikings' Bobby Evans: Finds work in Minnesota
Evans signed with the Vikings on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Selected in the third round at 97th overall in the 2019 Draft by the Rams, Evans appeared in 35 games for Los Angeles, making a dozen starts. He can play guard or tackle and obviously knows the offense after playing for Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell when the two were in L.A. together. Evans will compete for one of Minnesota's final roster spots.

Evans was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
Evans should be able to suit up Tuesday against Seattle in a game that was pushed back due to the volume of names in COVID protocols. With both of the Rams' starting guards healthy and available, Evans is expected to play a reserve role.

Evans either tested positive for the virus or is a high-risk close contact of an infected individual, and he won't be available for Sunday's game against the Jets. The 23-year-old has played only 18 snaps between offense and special teams in 2020.

The second-year man was forced to miss his first game of 2020 in Week 5, sitting out against Washington after fielding a combined 17 special-teams snaps over the Rams' first four outings of the season. Evans hasn't seen action from scrimmage this season after starting seven times in 2019, but he's on track to be activated for Los Angeles' Week 6 showdown with San Francisco.
