Chargers' Donte Jackson: No longer dealing with groin issue
Jackson (groin) isn't listed on the Chargers' practice report Tuesday.
Jackson hurt his groin Sunday versus the Cowboys and was unable to finish the game. Coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that the veteran cornerback was considered day-to-day, but his absence from the team's first practice report of the week suggests Jackson's injury is a thing of the past. He should thus be able to take on his usual starting role Saturday versus Houston.

Chargers' Donte Jackson: Considered day-to-day
Coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that Jackson (groin) is viewed as day-to-day, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Jackson was injured in the second quarter of Sunday's win over the Cowboys, but it appears as if he avoided a major injury. Benjamin St-Juste stepped in for Jackson but suffered a shoulder injury of his own and is also considered day-to-day, according to Harbaugh.

Chargers' Donte Jackson: Leaves game with groin injury
Jackson (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Jackson sustained a groin injury in the second quarter, and he stayed in the locker room after halftime to be evaluated by medical staff. Benjamin St-Juste will likely step into a more prominent role in the Chargers' secondary for as long as Jackson is out of the game.

Chargers' Donte Jackson: Three tackles against AFC Champs
Jackson registered three solo tackles and a pass defense during Friday's 27-21 win over the Chiefs.
Jackson made a critical pass deflection on a Patrick Mahomes' pass to Hollywood Brown late in the second quarter, which forced the Chiefs to settle for a 59-yard field goal two plays later. Jackson played 45 of 61 defensive snaps Friday, which was more than fellow starter Cam Hart (39). Next up for Jackson and the Chargers is a second-straight AFC West bout against the Raiders on Monday, Sept. 15.
