Isaac Collins LF | KC
Royals' Isaac Collins: Not in lineup Tuesday
Collins is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Giants.
It looks like a routine day off for Collins, who had started each of the previous 10 contests. Starling Marte will get a start in left field Tuesday as Collins rests.

Kahlil Watson RF | CLE
Guardians' Kahlil Watson: Sitting again Tuesday
Watson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.
Following a run of 10 starts in 11 games, Watson finds himself on the bench Tuesday for a second consecutive contest. The 23-year-old has a .584 OPS in his first 26 big-league games, though he is currently in the midst of a modest five-game hit streak, during which he's gone 6-for-18 with two doubles, two steals, two RBI and a run scored. Petey Halpin is instead starting in center field Tuesday for Cleveland.

Ethan Frey CF | HOU
Astros' Ethan Frey: Back in action for Tourists
High-A Asheville activated Frey (hamstring strain) from the 7-day injured list July 16, Geoff Pontes of Baseball America reports.
He suffered the injury June 3 and began his rehab assignment in the Florida Complex League on July 3. Frey has been one of the bigger FYPD disappointments in dynasty leagues this year, as he has a 30.4 percent strikeout rate and 88 wRC+ in 50 games as a 22-year-old at High-A. Despite an underwhelming .153 ISO and six homers in 230 plate appearances, Frey has at least used his athleticism to add value on the bases, notching 15 steals on 19 attempts.

Wyatt Langford LF | TEX
Rangers' Wyatt Langford: Steals base in loss
Langford went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and was caught stealing in Monday's 10-3 loss to the White Sox.
Langford singled and stole second base in the first inning but was later gunned down attempting to steal third in the same frame. It was the first base-stealing activity for the outfielder since returning from a hamstring injury earlier this month and a sign that he's beyond the injury. Langford, who stole 19 and 22 bases the previous two seasons, has missed nearly two months of action in 2026 due to injuries and is up to seven steals (caught once) over 48 games.

Steven Kwan LF | CLE
Guardians' Steven Kwan: Stays at leadoff
Kwan batted leadoff and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Monday's 13-4 win over the Twins.
Kwan batted leadoff for a second straight contest after spending much of the last two months in the bottom third of the order. He'd been the team's primary leadoff batter the last few seasons, but an early slump in 2026 led to a demotion. However, a recent surge -- Kwan entered Monday on a six-game hitting streak (11-for-21) -- was apparently enough to convince manager Stephen Vogt the veteran outfielder earned another chance atop the order.

Riley Greene LF | DET
Tigers' Riley Greene: Clubs 15th homer
Greene went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's extra-inning win over the Cubs.
Greene opened the scoring with a three-run homer in the first inning, a 408-foot blast to right-center field that left his bat at 102.1 mph. After going deep Sunday against the Angels, the left fielder has now homered in back-to-back games for the fourth time this season. The 25-year-old continues to get better and better, slashing .288/.379/.475 with 15 homers, 50 RBI, 52 runs and two stolen bases across 99 contests.

Jo Adell RF | CLE
Angels' Jo Adell: Homers, drives in winning run
Adell went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a hit-by-pitch and a second RBI in Monday's 3-2 win over the Cardinals.
Adell got the Angels on the board in the third inning with his homer. In the ninth, he took one for the team, as he was plunked with the bases loaded to drive in the winning run. The outfielder ran cold around the All-Star break -- he entered Monday 0-for-23 over his previous six games. Adell is batting .240 with a .680 OPS, 14 homers, 55 RBI, 43 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple and three stolen bases over 100 contests this season.

Kerry Carpenter RF | DET
Tigers' Kerry Carpenter: Fighting through heel contusion
Carpenter has been playing through a bruised heel over the last few games, and he was removed from Monday's game against the Cubs after appearing to be in some discomfort, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
Carpenter reached base on an error in the 10th inning, and after he appeared to be experiencing some discomfort, the Tigers elected to pinch run for him. It's encouraging that 28-year-old has been able to push through the injury over the last few days, but his status will be worth keeping an eye on heading into Tuesday's clash.

Victor Robles RF | SEA
Mariners' Victor Robles: Perfect at plate Monday
Robles went 4-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 8-0 win over the Reds.
Robles had gone just 4-for-27 over his first 13 games in July before doubling his hit total for the month with this performance. All of his knocks Monday were singles. Robles remains in a short-side platoon role for now, though his best chance at playing time would come be challenging the struggling Luke Raley. Robles is batting .240 with a .555 OPS, no home runs, five RBI, 10 runs scored, three doubles and seven stolen bases over 113 plate appearances this season.

Julio Rodriguez CF | SEA
Mariners' Julio Rodriguez: Removed as precaution
The Mariners pulled Rodriguez from Monday's game against the Reds as a precaution, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.
Manager Dan Wilson stated after the game that the team isn't overly concerned about a potential strain, but Wilson did want to get Rodriguez out of the game after he was hit by the throw from shortstop. The star center fielder can be considered day-to-day leading up to the second game of the series Tuesday.
