  • Mariners' Julio Rodriguez: Clubs clutch three-run homer

Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.

Jacob deGrom dominated Texas over the first six innings of Thursday's matchup, but Seattle pounced in the seventh following deGrom's departure. Rodriguez came up with the big hit in that frame, belting a three-run shot to left-center field to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 lead. The long ball snapped a 14-game homerless stretch for Rodriguez, and he had been ice cold during that span, slashing just .153/.180/.203 with a 27.9 percent strikeout rate. He did steal four bases during that stretch, however, and with 21 homers and 20 thefts on the campaign, Rodriguez is one of seven big leaguers to reach the 20/20 mark to this point in the season.

  • Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Sent back to Triple-A

The Yankees optioned Dominguez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday.

Dominguez was just recalled from Triple-A last weekend after spending a month in the minors. He went 0-for-4 with a walk and one run scored in Thursday's 10-3 win over the Rockies and went 1-for-9 at the plate across four contests with New York since his latest recall. Dominguez has a .635 OPS across 222 trips to the plate in the big leagues this season.

  • Twins' Gabriel Gonzalez: Relegated to Triple-A

The Twins optioned Gonzalez to Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday.

With Austin Martin (hamstring) returning from the injured list Thursday, Gonzalez will end up as the odd man out of a spot on the Twins' 28-man roster. The 22-year-old went 2-for-8 with two walks while appearing in seven games for the Twins, and he'll likely play out the rest of the season at St. Paul, barring an injury to another one of Minnesota's outfielders.

  • Austin Martin LF | MIN

Twins' Austin Martin: Back from injured list

The Twins reinstated Martin (hamstring) from the injured list Thursday.

Martin landed on the injured list Aug. 17 with a strained left hamstring but has been playing in rehab games at Triple-A St. Paul since Tuesday. After going 3-for-8 with a triple, three RBI and a run scored, the 27-year-old will now return to the active roster and provide depth to Minnesota's outfield corps. Gabriel Gonzalez was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

  • Aaron Judge RF | NYY

Yankees' Aaron Judge: Exiting starting nine

Judge is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Rockies.

Judge was pulled after six innings in his first game off the injured list Tuesday and in the eighth inning of his second game back Wednesday. He'll now sit out the series finale versus the Rockies as the Yankees ease him back into a full-time role. Jasson Dominguez will be in right field and bat third for the Bronx Bombers.

  • Cody Bellinger LF | NYY

Yankees' Cody Bellinger: Goes deep Wednesday

Bellinger went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 6-1 win over Colorado on Wednesday.

Bellinger capped the scoring in the contest with a solo shot to right field in the eighth inning. Since returning to action Aug. 23 following a nearly month-long stay on the injured list, Bellinger has hit safely in 13 of 16 games, posting a .288/.294/.409 slash line with two homers, 13 runs and 10 RBI during that span. The veteran outfielder has experienced a drop-off in power this year, however, as he's slugged just 13 homers through 118 contests after going deep 29 times across 152 regular-season games last year.

  • Jose Siri LF | LAA

Angels' Jose Siri: Swats homer Wednesday

Siri went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 6-4 win over the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Siri hit one of three Angels long balls Wednesday, belting a two-run shot to right-center field in the third inning. That snapped a 27-game homerless stretch for the veteran outfielder, who batted a meager .113 with an ugly 40.3 percent strikeout rate during the power drought. Siri seems to be in a platoon in right field at the moment, as he's started each of Los Angeles' past two contests against lefty starters while sitting in each of the team's past two games against righties.

  • Blue Jays' Anthony Santander: Hitless to begin rehab stint

Santander (shoulder) went 0-for-4 with one strikeout for Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday.

It was the first game action of the season for Santander, who got the start at DH and hit third for the Bisons. The 31-year-old still has a chance to contribute for the Blue Jays before the end of the regular season if he can shake off enough rust, and Santander's timeline could be accelerated if the shoulder issue George Springer is playing through proves to be more serious than the team anticipates. Santander's brief Toronto tenure has been marred by shoulder trouble that led to surgery in February, but he's still just two years removed from a 44-homer campaign with Baltimore.

  • Rays' Victor Mesa: First home run since return

Mesa went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Wednesday's 7-2 win against Atlanta. He was also caught stealing on his one attempt.

Mesa popped his first home run since coming off of the injured list (hamstring) at the beginning of September. The left-swinging outfielder has been hot at the plate while hitting .367 (11-for-30) with four RBI since his return, and he's currently sporting a five-game hitting streak.

  • John Rave RF | KC

Royals' John Rave: Swipes bag in win

Rave went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Rave generated a run with his speed in the second inning, stealing third and forcing a throwing error that bought him the time to score. The outfielder has hit safely in all six of his games in September, going 6-for-20 (.300) with three extra-base hits this month. Rave has been getting a boost in playing time while Jac Caglianone (elbow) is banged up and would benefit further if an IL stint is deemed necessary. Rave is hitting .233 with a .763 OPS, six steals, five home runs, 11 RBI, 20 runs scored, six doubles and one triple over 116 plate appearances this season.
