Anthony Molina SP | SF
Giants' Anthony Molina: Sharp in no-decision Wednesday
Molina didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Cardinals, allowing two hits and a walk over 5.2 scoreless innings. He struck out six.
The right-hander fell just short of his first career quality start, getting lifted after 82 pitches (57 strikes) with the Giants ahead 1-0, but both bullpens had trouble closing the door in the late innings. It was a strong rebound from Molina after he got tagged for seven runs in three frames in his last outing. Since shifting into the rotation in late August he's produced a 4.82 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 22:4 K:BB over 18.2 innings. Molina is scheduled to make what could be his final start of the season at home early next week against the Twins.

Roki Sasaki SP | LAD
Dodgers' Roki Sasaki: Tosses 48-pitch bullpen Wednesday
Sasaki (finger) tossed 48 pitches during his live bullpen session Wednesday, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Sasaki's live session Wednesday came in lieu of a start that he originally lined up to make against the Reds on Thursday. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Sasaki's session went well, and the team will now decide whether the right-hander returns as a starter or reliever for the rest of the regular season. Sasaki figures to operate out of the bullpen during the playoffs, though he would be an option for the rotation if a spot opens up due to injury.

Sean Sullivan SP | COL
Rockies' Sean Sullivan: Reinstated from IL, optioned to Triple-A
The Rockies reinstated Sullivan (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday.
Sullivan landed on the 15-day injured list in early July due to left shoulder impingement, and he wasn't cleared to embark on a rehab assignment until Sept. 10. There's not enough space for him in the Rockies' rotation, so he'll stick around in Triple-A, where he has a 5.71 ERA and 1.55 WHIP across 58.1 innings.

Dodgers' Kris Bubic: Joins Dodgers' bullpen
The Dodgers activated Bubic (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Bubic hasn't pitched in the majors since mid-May when he was in the Royals' rotation. The Dodgers will deploy him as a reliever after he tossed 5.2 shutout frames with a 9:2 K:BB in six rehab appearances. Bubic is coming back from elbow and shoulder woes.

Brewers' Kyle Harrison: Drawing start Thursday
Harrison will start Thursday's game in Pittsburgh, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Reds' Rhett Lowder: Downed by Dodgers
Lowder (6-11) took the loss Tuesday, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks over five innings as the Reds fell 4-0 to the Dodgers. He struck out four.
The right-hander didn't pitch badly, but he had no margin for error with Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the LA bullpen combining for a three-hit shutout. Lowder has lost all three of his September starts, stumbling to an 11.68 ERA, 2.11 WHIP and 10:8 K:BB over 12.1 innings on the month. He'll try to right the ship in his next outing, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Cubs.
