  • Astros' Christian Walker: Launches 29th homer in finale

Walker went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two additional runs scored in Sunday's 9-0 win over the A's.

Walker extended Houston's lead to 5-0 in the sixth inning with a solo shot off Scott Blewett, his 29th homer this year. Walker will head into the postseason on a hot streak, going 8-for-23 (.348) with four homers in his last six games. Overall, Walker slashed .226/.299/.427 across 635 regular-season plate appearances with 87 RBI and 73 runs scored.

  • Dean Kremer SP | MIN

Twins' Dean Kremer: Goes seven strong in win

Kremer (5-5) earned the win against the Rangers on Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and no walks with four strikeouts over seven innings.

Kremer was spotted an early lead and ran with it, with a solo homer in the third inning serving as his only blemish. The 30-year-old ended his season on a nice run, finishing September 3-0 while yielding just four earned runs over his final four outings. Overall, he'll conclude the campaign with a 4.68 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 86:29 K:BB across 90.1 innings with the Orioles and Twins.

  • Cardinals' Leo Bernal: Lifts fifth homer

Bernal went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and two walks in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Brewers.

Bernal showed plenty of promise over his 24 games in the majors to close out the campaign. He hit .284 with an .807 OPS, five homers, 21 RBI, 12 runs scored and three doubles while seeing time at catcher, first base and designated hitter. Bernal is expected to be the Cardinals' catcher of the future, and his first sample of work in the majors is an encouraging sign of what kind of production he can provide.

  • MacKenzie Gore SP | TEX

Rangers' MacKenzie Gore: Early hook in finale

Gore did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Twins, allowing one run on one hit and one walk over 2.1 innings. He did not record a strikeout.

Gore started a major-league-leading 34th game but did not last long, throwing 15 of 25 pitches for strikes and departing with one out in the third inning. It's unclear if the southpaw was injured Sunday, but he'll finish the campaign having completed five frames in only five of his final seven outings. He'll conclude his first season in Texas with a 4.58 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 174:71 K:BB across a career-high 173 innings.

  • Andre Pallante SP | STL

Cardinals' Andre Pallante: Hit hard in finale

Pallante (12-9) allowed six runs on 10 hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings to take the loss versus the Brewers on Sunday.

Pallante didn't catch much of a break as the Brewers had most of their top hitters active for the regular-season finale. September saw Pallante produce more mixed results, allowing 17 runs (15 earned) over 26 innings across five starts. He ends the campaign at a 3.83 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 110:50 K:BB through 162 innings over 29 starts. Pallante has made himself a stable but unexciting option at the back end of the Cardinals' rotation over the last few years.

  • Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Strong end to regular season

Chourio went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Cardinals.

Chourio got a couple of rest days in the final week of the season since the Brewers were able to lock up the top spot in the National League. The outfielder had an excellent month, going 33-for-98 (.337) with 18 RBI over 24 contests in September. He ends the regular season batting .291 with an .838 OPS, 23 stolen bases and 25 homers, all personal bests. He added 75 RBI, 96 runs scored and 27 doubles over just 127 games.

  • Gary Sanchez C | MIL

Brewers' Gary Sanchez: Goes yard Sunday

Sanchez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Cardinals.

Sanchez continued to see limited playing time in September, going 6-for-26 (.231) over 10 contests. He snapped a 10-game power drought with his third-inning homer, which ended up giving the Brewers enough to win this game. Sanchez hit .209 with a .771 OPS, 12 homers, 38 RBI, 37 runs scored, 10 doubles and one triple over 275 plate appearances this season. He'll back up William Contreras at catcher during the postseason.

  • Shane Drohan SP | MIL

Brewers' Shane Drohan: Grabs second save

Drohan struck out two over 1.2 perfect innings to earn the save in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Cardinals.

Chad Patrick ran into trouble in the eighth inning, prompting Drohan to come into the game. Drohan did his job, throwing 13 of 21 pitches for strikes in this relief appearance, which could be a preview of his usage during the postseason. With his background as a starter, he'll likely be tasked with multi-inning assignments if he works out of the bullpen in October. Drohan finished the regular season at a 4.19 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 125:44 K:BB across 124.2 innings over 33 games (19 starts). He also collected two saves and three holds.

  • Brewers' Jacob Misiorowski: Tosses 5.1 scoreless frames

Misiorowski (16-5) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

Misiorowski threw 68 pitches (44 strikes) in this outing, getting a standing ovation after striking out Jordan Walker in the sixth inning. Misiorowski had 10 scoreless outings this season and 18 starts of no more than one run allowed. He led all qualified starters with a 1.80 ERA and 252 strikeouts while maintaining a 0.80 WHIP over 174.2 innings across 30 starts. The superstar right-hander will next take the mound during the NLDS.

  • Jo Adell RF | CLE

Guardians' Jo Adell: Clubs homer Sunday

Adell went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Royals.

Adell went just 23-for-95 (.242) over 25 games in September, adding three homers and 11 RBI. The outfielder batted .240 with a .699 OPS this season. He produced 23 homers, 94 RBI, 70 runs scored, 26 doubles, one triple and five stolen bases over a career-high 159 contests between the Guardians and the Angels. While his overall profile was mostly steady compared to his career year in 2025, he regressed in the power department.
