Rafael Nadal eliminated by Tomas Berdych in quarterfinals

Rafael Nadal was eliminated from the Aussie Open after losing in three sets against Tomas Berdych.

Rafael Nadal has been eliminated from the Austrailian Open in the quarterfinals.

Nadal lost to Tomas Berdych in three sets. He fell behind early, dropping the first set 6-2, and getting blanked 6-0 in the second set. Berdych took a 5-1 lead in the final set, but Nadal would not go quietly. Nadal would force a tiebreak, but eventually lost 7-6. 

For Berdych, it was his first win over Nadal in 18 matches. He'll take on Andy Murray, who beat Australian Nick Kyrgios 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.
