Thursday night at Dodger Stadium is Vin Scully bobblehead night. And just in case we needed a reminder that the legendary broadcaster was a gift for all baseball fans from the heavens, a rainbow appeared behind him as he accepted a bobblehead with his likeness. Witness:

Wow. Maybe if this happened at night and a shooting star appeared it would be better, otherwise this is just about perfect for the patron saint of baseball broadcasting.

Scully, 84, will return in 2013 for his 64th season as the Dodgers play-by-play announcer.
