OC Kevin Gilbride is looking for a TE to step up now that TE Jake Ballard is gone and TE Travis Beckum is recovering from a torn ACL. “Except for [TE Bear Pascoe], there's nobody that's done it before," Gilbride said. "You were hoping to have Bear as a swing guy, a second tight end that could motion back and play the fullback position.” In other words, Pascoe might start even though Gilbride sees him as a hybrid.
