Young (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup against the Browns.
The 11-year veteran started Week 7 against the Buccaneers with Trent Brown residing on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but he was forced to an early exit because of an in-game injury. With Brown dealing with a non-COVID illness, Young again earned the start for Week 8's matchup against Cleveland after being cleared to play Sunday morning, but he's been forced out midgame for a second consecutive week.

Raiders' Sam Young: Cleared for Week 8
Young (knee) will play in Sunday's game versus the Browns.
Young started last week's loss to the Buccaneers because Trent Brown was on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but Young ended up leaving early with a knee injury. He logged limited practices all week and has been cleared to play, but Brown has also been activated and could suit up Sunday depending on his conditioning. Whoever starts will have a tough matchup with Browns' defensive end Myles Garrett on the other side.
