Chubb (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Chubb was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Monday, and he was able to participate in practice all week in a limited capacity. He wasn't able to progress enough to play Sunday, and his next chance to make his 2024 regular-season debut will be Week 15 against Houston on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Chubb is in the final stages of his recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered in Week 17 of the 2023 regular season. He was designated to return from the Dolphins' reserve/PUP list Wednesday, and he participated in practice all week in a limited capacity. If he's ruled out for Sunday's AFC East clash, then Chubb's next opportunity to play would be Week 15 against the Texans on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Chubb (knee) was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Chubb has been out tending to a torn ACL he suffered last season, but he'll now be able to practice with the team. His designation to return opens his 21-day window to practice with the team before he'd have be placed on the 53-man roster or miss the remainder of the season.

Chubb is still working to return from a torn ACL suffered Week 17 last season. There was optimism over the last couple of weeks that his return was imminent, but he'll stay sidelined for at least one more week.
Head coach Mike McDaniel said Thursday that Chubb (knee) won't be activated from the PUP list ahead of Monday's game against the Rams, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
McDaniel expressed optimism earlier in the week that Chubb might be able to get back onto the practice field this week, but the edge rusher will apparently require more rehab time. Emmanuel Ogbah, Chop Robinson and Tyus Bowser will continue to serve as Miami's primary edge rushers in Week 10.

Coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that he was optimistic Chubb (knee) would be able to return to practice during the week, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
McDaniel was careful not to make any definitive guarantees to reporters Monday, but it's an encouraging sign in any case for Chubb, who has missed the first nine games of the 2024 season as he's rehabbed from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 17 of last season. The Dolphins' first official practice report of the week Thursday will give more insight into his potential availability for Week 10.
Head coach Mike McDaniel stated Monday that Chubb (knee) coming off the PUP list isn't "on his radar right now," Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reports.
Chubb has been on the shelf since suffering an ACL tear in Week 17 last season and seems to have no definitive return timeline. However, McDaniel did note that Chubb is "going to continue to work to get back sooner than later." With a return unlikely for Sunday's game against Buffalo, his next potential debut date would be Week 10 against the Rams.
