Fant will miss the regular-season finale as he tends to the knee injury that he has been dealing with since September. With Duane Brown (shoulder) also out, Mike Remmers and Cedric Ogbuehi could step into starting roles Sunday in Miami.

Fant (knee) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Fant has been out since late September with a knee injury. According to Cimini, Fant could immediately retake his starting role at right tackle. If that were the case, Max Mitchell would return to a reserve role.

Jets' George Fant: Back at practice
Fant (knee) returned to practice Wednesday, signaling he is likely to return from the Jets' injured reserve list soon, Ethan Greenberg reports.
Fant's participation in practice means the Jets now have a 21-day window to activate him before they would have to place him back on their injured reserve list for the remainder of the season. Once he returns to game action, he should take over as a starting tackle, probably at the expense of Cedric Ogbuehi.
