  • Broncos' Garett Bolles: Officially active Sunday

Bolles (illness/ankle) is active for Sunday's game against Kansas City, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Bolles missed the last three games due to an ankle injury and a positive COVID-19 test. However, he returned to practice this week and will reclaim his starting role at left tackle Sunday.

  • Broncos' Garett Bolles: Expected to start Sunday

Bolles (illness/ankle) is expected to start Sunday's game against Kansas City, George Stoia of the Colorado Springs Gazette reports.

Bolles was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, and he was a full participant in Friday's practice session. He had missed each of the last three games and is officially questionable for Sunday's matchup, but it appears as though he'll be back in action.

  • Broncos' Garett Bolles: Back from COVID list

Bolles (illness/ankle) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.

Bolles' return to the roster corresponds with Calvin Anderson's (knee/ankle) placement on IR. With Denver beat up at the tackle position, the team can't afford to bring Bolles back slowly and will almost certainly start him at his customary left tackle spot against the Chiefs on Sunday.

  • Broncos' Garett Bolles: Might play Sunday

Bolles (illness) could be ready to return for Sunday's Week 13 game against the Chiefs according to head coach Vic Fangio, George Stoia III of The Denver Gazette reports.

Bolles was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Nov. 22 after testing positive for the virus. He is vaccinated, so as soon as he is asymptomatic and can return two negative tests 24 hours apart, he can be removed from the list. A starter since being selected in the first round in 2017, Bolles' return would be a big boost to the Broncos' offensive line, especially with backup tackle Calvin Anderson (knee) likely to miss time.

  • Broncos' Garett Bolles: Goes on COVID-19 list

Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said Bolles will be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after testing positive for the virus, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.

Per Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com, Fangio noted that Bolles was the only player on the roster to test positive Monday when the team reconvened for workouts following its Week 11 bye. Fangio noted that Bolles is vaccinated, so the left tackle will have a shot at playing Sunday against the Chargers once he's asymptomatic and able to return two negative test results at least 24 hours apart. Calvin Anderson would likely pick up a start Sunday if Bolles can't gain clearance ahead of the contest.

  • Broncos' Garett Bolles: Remains out in Week 10

Bolles (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Bolles will miss a second consecutive game as a result of the injury he picked up in Week 8, but at least the Broncos have their bye coming up in Week 11, which will give the starting left tackle an extra week to heal. Cameron Fleming is expected to draw the start at left tackle while Calvin Anderson fills in for the injured Bobby Massie (ankle) at right tackle.
