  • Eagles' Miles Sanders: Explodes for 156 total yards

Sanders rushed 27 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns while catching two of three targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 29-21 win over the Jaguars.

Sanders nearly doubled his total yards from scrimmage from the previous three games in one fell swoop, chipping in his second and third touchdowns for good measure. The lack of targets out of the backfield (nine through four games) remains a minor issue for the fourth-year back, but the results on the ground have been strong early on. Sanders should be treated as an RB1 heading into next Sunday's tilt against the Cardinals.

  • Eagles' Miles Sanders: Gets back to full participation

    Sanders (hip) practiced fully Thursday.

One day removed from being a limited practice participant due to a hip issue, Sanders logged every rep Thursday, implying Wednesday's cap on his reps was for maintenance-related reasons. He's thus clear to lead the Eagles backfield Sunday against the Jaguars, which so far has equated to 51 touches for 235 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD in three games this season.

  • Eagles' Miles Sanders: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Sanders was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to a hip injury.

Sanders has tended to various injuries in three-plus seasons in the NFL, but a hip issue hasn't been one of them. Still, he managed some reps to begin prep for a Week 4 matchup with the Jaguars, and he'll have two more opportunities to get back to full activity before the Eagles potentially hand him a designation for that contest. On the season, Sanders has easily paced the Eagles backfield, earning 51 touches to Kenneth Gainwell's 13 and Boston Scott's (rib) 11 through three games.

  • Eagles' Miles Sanders: Clear leader in backfield

Sanders ran for 46 yards on 15 carries and netted minus-2 yards on one reception against Washington on Sunday.

While it would have been nice if Sanders had been able to post bigger numbers, his fantasy investors can find encouragement in the fact that he was the clear lead runner for the Eagles. Jalen Hurts saw the second-most carries with nine and Kenneth Gainwell was third with just three. If Sanders can keep holding off Gainwell and Boston Scott then he should have more productive games in store. There's nothing obviously concerning about his Week 4 matchup against Jacksonville.

  • Eagles' Miles Sanders: Another solid effort in Week 2

Sanders rushed 17 times for 80 yards and brought in all three targets for six yards in the Eagles' 24-7 win over the Vikings on Monday night. He also recovered a fumble.

Sanders' rushing volume would ideally be a tick higher, but positive game script helped lead to some late work and corresponding production for the fourth-year back. Sanders has logged 30 carries overall in his first two games and parlayed them into an impressive 176 yards and a touchdown, an elite level of efficiency he'll aim to build on at the expense of the Commanders in a Week 3 divisional road matchup.
