Browns' Grant Delpit: Looks ready to go
Delpit (arm) wasn't listed on Cleveland's injury report Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game versus Cincinnati.
Delpit walked off the Browns' practice field back on Aug. 23 with an arm injury, but it seems he's recovered enough that he'll be ready to start Week 1. The 2020 second-rounder notched 105 tackles and four interceptions last season, so he's solidly on the IDP radar for 2023.

Browns' Grant Delpit: Limited at practice
Delpit (arm) participated in individual drills at Friday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Delpit sat out the team portion of the practice as he continues to recover from an arm issue. Head coach Kevin Stefanskie indicated Delpit could still suit up for Saturday's preseason finale, so the injury does not sound too serious. The strong safety is expected to start alongside Juan Thornhill in the Browns' secondary this season.

Browns' Grant Delpit: Considered day-to-day
Delpit (arm) is considered day-to-day after leaving Wednesday's practice early, Chris Easterling of the Beacon Journal reports.
Delpit suffered the right arm injury during an 11-on-11 drill and was slow to get up before heading inside with trainers. It appears the 24-year-old has avoided a serious injury, but it's unlikely he'll be available for Saturday's preseason finale in Kansas City.

Browns' Grant Delpit: Injured in practice
Delpit left practice early Thursday after suffering an arm injury, Ashley Bastock of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Delpit stayed down on the field and ultimately walked off the field and into the facility with trainers after suffering the injury during an 11-on-11 drill. The 24-year-old is a key piece of the Browns' secondary, so any kind of significant injury would certainly be a blow to the team.

Browns' Grant Delpit: Quiet finale
Delpit had two tackles in a 28-14 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 18.
Delpit had a strong second half of the season, recording 55 tackles and three interceptions in the eight games leading up to Week 18 but finished on a quiet note against the Steelers. He led the team with 105 tackles and was on the field for every defensive snap, save for one when he was held off the field at the start Week 10's game against Miami due to disciplinary reasons. Delpit was one of several players to be disciplined for unspecified behavior at points during the season. Cleveland's defense was seen as the primary reason for the team's disappointing season, and the organization let defensive coordinator Joe Woods go because of the unit's performance. Delpit should return as a starter at safety in 2023.
