  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Five catches in win

Williams caught five of seven targets for 54 yards during Sunday night's 27-10 win over the Eagles.

Williams led the team in catches and targets while finishing second behind fellow wide receiver Treylon Burks (81) in receiving yards. With Terry McLaurin (knee) done for the year, Williams will have an opportunity to keep carving out a larger role for himself each week with Washington. On the year, the rookie wide receiver has now reeled in 23 of 33 targets for 259 yards and one touchdown over seven regular-season contests.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Added opportunities likely following bye

Coach Dan Quinn noted Monday that with Terry McLaurin (knee) out for the season, Stefon Diggs' workload isn't expected to change much, however others, notably Williams, should see added opportunities in McLaurin's looming absence, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.

McLaurin was forced out of Week 6 action after logging just seven snaps, while Williams ended up recording 45 snaps alongside Diggs (41 snaps), Treylon Burks (37 snaps) and Dyami Brown (33 snaps). In the process, Williams caught three of his four targets for 50 yards in the contest. Following the Commanders' Week 7 bye, the 2026 third-rounder merits fantasy consideration for those who previously rostered McLaurin or are otherwise looking to added some WR depth ahead of the NFL's Week 8 slate.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Three more grabs in Week 6 loss

Williams brought in three of four targets for 50 yards in the Commanders' 23-17 loss to the 49ers on Monday night.

Williams finished with the third-most receptions on the Commanders for the night, and the rookie posted the second-highest receiving yardage total of his nascent career. Williams has maintained a steady complementary presence in Washington's air attack while recording at least three catches in all but one game, and the third-round pick out of Clemson should continue filling a similar role when the Commanders return from a Week 7 bye in a home divisional battle against the Eagles on Sunday night, Nov. 1.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Catches three passes in Week 5 tie

Williams hauled in all three of his targets for 31 yards and added a two-yard punt return during the Commanders' 27-27 tie with the Giants on Sunday.

Williams didn't see a target from Jayden Daniels until early in the third quarter, when the duo connected on a 17-yard pass on the first of a five-play drive that ended with a 38-yard rushing touchdown by Daniels. Williams finished third on the Commanders in both receptions and receiving yards behind Terry McLaurin and Chig Okonkwo, and the rookie wideout has a 15-155-1 receiving line on 22 targets through five regular-season games. The Commanders have a tough Week 6 road tilt against the undefeated 49ers on Monday Night Football.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Quiet day in London

Williams caught three of eight targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Colts.

With Terry McLaurin (hamstring) inactive, Williams finished second to Stefon Diggs in targets, but the rookie wideout wasn't able to do much with the volume as Athan Kaliakmanis ended up having to make his NFL debut in relief of Marcus Mariota (knee) at quarterback. Williams has produced a 12-124-1 line on 19 targets through his first four games, and he'll be a volatile option in Week 5 against the Giants depending on whether Jayden Daniels (elbow) and McLaurin are able to return.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Chance to be WR2 in London

Williams and Stefon Diggs are both in line for larger roles against the Colts on Sunday in London, with Ben Standig of The Team 980 Washington D.C. reporting that Terry McLaurin (hamstring) is now expected to be ruled out.

McLaurin was tagged as questionable for Sunday's game after appearing to injure his hamstring during Friday's practice. He has yet to be ruled out for Week 4, but in the event that he cannot play, both Williams and Diggs would be Marcus Mariota's top targets in the passing game, with Dyami Brown, Treylon Burks and tight end Chig Okonkwo also in the mix. Williams has a 9-103-1 receiving line on 11 targets through the first three games of his NFL career.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Hauls in two passes vs. Seattle

Williams caught two passes on four targets for 15 yards during the Commanders' 33-31 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.

The rookie third-rounder's two catches both came in the second quarter, and his six-yard reception at the 0:41 mark helped lead to a 57-yard field goal from Drew Stevens two plays later to give the Commanders a 17-10 lead heading into halftime. Williams' 28 offensive snap were third-most among Washington's wide receivers, ahead of Treylon Burks (25) and Dyami Brown (21) but well behind Terry McLaurin (52) and Stefon Diggs (41). Williams will take a 9-103-1 receiving line (on 11 targets) into a Week 4 clash against the Colts this Sunday in London, England.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Three catches in loss

Williams caught all three of his targets for 24 yards and failed to complete his only pass attempt in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Cowboys.

Williams played 35 of the Commanders' 71 offensive snaps in Sunday's contest. The wide receiver also threw a deep shot to Terry McLaurin late in the third quarter on a trick play as the Commanders tried to keep the game close after the loss of quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) before the half.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Catches TD in NFL debut

Williams hauled in all four of his targets for 64 yards and a touchdown during the Commanders' 24-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.

Williams played only 26 of 70 offensive snaps (37.1 percent), which was fourth most among Commanders wide receivers in Sunday's loss. However, the rookie third-rounder ended up leading the Commanders in receiving yards while finishing second behind veteran Stefon Diggs in targets (nine). Williams was close to scoring on his first NFL catch for 16 yards late in the second quarter, falling short of the goal line before Jacory Croskey-Merritt punched the ball in on a one-yard rushing touchdown on the next play. Williams followed that up with a 33-yard catch early in the fourth quarter before hauling in a one-yard touchdown pass from Jayden Daniels late in the frame. It was an encouraging NFL debut from Williams, who may have benefited from the Eagles secondary focusing on limiting Terry McLaurin, though the former may have shown enough against Philadelphia to warrant additional playing time moving forward. The Commanders will stay on the road for their Week 2 clash against the Cowboys on Sept. 20.

  • Commanders' Antonio Williams: Doesn't suit up Friday

Williams didn't play in Friday's preseason loss to the Ravens.

The third-round rookie out of Clemson has been coming on strong as training camp has progressed, and per Donna Hopkins of MASN, Williams opened some eyes in joint practices against Baltimore earlier in the week when he beat Kyle Hamilton in one-on-one drills. The fact that Williams was held out Friday along with the rest of the Commanders' key personnel could be a strong sign that he's won the No. 3 receiver job to begin the season over the likes of Luke McCaffrey, Dyami Brown and Jaylin Lane, but he still faces an uphill battle for targets working behind Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs.
