Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: First TD as Bronco in loss
Waddle secured five of six targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 24-14 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.
Waddle recorded his first touchdown as a member of the Broncos at a critical juncture, as his 13-yard scoring grab with just over four minutes remaining helped Denver get to within three points at the time. Waddle also finished second in receptions and tied for runner-up status in targets as well, and he's now seen a total of 23 passes from Bo Nix come his way in the last three contests. The Broncos' air attack and Waddle's chemistry with Nix remains a work in progress, but the veteran receiver takes a solid 16-185-1 line on 26 targets into a Week 5 divisional road matchup against the Chargers next Sunday.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Ready to go for Week 4
Waddle (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Following the Broncos' Week 3 win over the Rams, Waddle was spotted with his walking boot on his right foot, but he wasn't inhibited by the injury during Week 4 prep. He was a full participant in practices Wednesday through Friday, clearing the way for him to head into the weekend without a designation. Waddle isn't expected to face any restrictions with his snaps Sunday.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Turns in full practice Wednesday
Waddle (leg) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Though he was seen donning a walking boot following Sunday's win over the Rams, Waddle may have just wearing the boot as a precaution. He was back on the field three days later and took every rep in practice, with head coach Sean Payton relaying afterward that Waddle is "doing fine." Waddle thus looks like he'll be ready to handle his usual allotment of snaps in Sunday's game at San Francisco.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Spotted at practice Wednesday
Waddle (leg) was on the field Wednesday for the start of the Broncos' practice session, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Following Sunday's 30-26 win over the Rams, Waddle was spotted wearing a walking boot on his right foot. His presence on the field begin Week 4 prep suggests he might have been wearing the boot as a precaution, but fantasy managers will nonetheless want to track Waddle's practice activity leading up to this weekend's game in San Francisco. Through his first three contests with the Broncos, Waddle has recorded 11 catches for 150 yards on 20 targets while carrying once for a 14-yard gain.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Considered 'fine' after sporting boot
Waddle is believed to be "fine" despite being seen wearing a walking boot on his right foot following Sunday's victory over the Rams, Sam Jane of The Denver Post reports.
Concern was raised about Waddle's status after he was spotted -- per Jon Heath of Broncos Wire -- with a boot on his foot Sunday night, but Jane's report indicates Waddle is not dealing with any sort of serious setback. More will be known about Waddle's status either at the start of or after Denver's Wednesday practice session.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Quiet twice through three games
Waddle caught two of seven targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 30-26 win over the Rams. He also rushed once for 14 yards and caught a two-point conversion.
The highlight of Waddle's night came on the two-point conversion after Denver's first touchdown in the third quarter. Bo Nix dropped a pass just over a defender's helmet and Waddle came down with it while getting both feet down in the corner of the end zone to cut Denver's deficit to 16-8. Waddle tied for the team lead with seven targets, matching the totals of Courtland Sutton and RJ Harvey, who were two of the five players that topped Waddle's total in receiving yards Sunday night. The prized offseason acquisition is off to an inconsistent start with the Broncos ahead of a Week 4 trip to San Francisco, sandwiching a 138-yard outburst in Week 2 between two games in which he recorded a combined 12 receiving yards.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Breakout performance in Week 2 win
Waddle brought in eight of 10 targets for 138 yards in the Broncos' 20-13 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
After a completely non-descript Broncos debut in Week 1, Waddle bounced back with a signature performance in Denver's come-from-behind victory. The veteran wideout led his team in all of receptions, receiving yards and targets by a wide margin, and the highlight of his afternoon was a spectacular 49-yard contested catch early in the second quarter that took the ball down to the Jaguars' one-yard line. The caliber of performance was emblematic of why the Broncos traded for Waddle this offseason, and it may serve as a launchpad for his role in the offense moving forward.
