  • Jets' Andre Cisco: Re-signs with NYJ

Cisco (pectoral) and the Jets agreed to terms on a one-year, $5.25 million contract Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Cisco started at safety in each of the Jets' first eight games of the regular season but spent the rest of 2025 on IR after tearing his pectoral muscle in Week 8 against the Bengals. He should be ready for the start of offseason programming, and Cisco projects to start at safety alongside Minkah Fitzpatrick in 2026.

  • Jets' Andre Cisco: Moves to IR

Cisco (pectoral) was placed on the injured reserve list Wednesday.

Cisco is expected to miss the remainder of the Jets' 2025 campaign after tearing his pectoral muscle in the Week 8 win of the Bengals. He started in all eight of New York's games this season, recording 41 total tackles and one pass defended. Expect Tony Adams and Dean Clark to operate as the Jets' top free safeties for the rest of the season.

  • Jets' Andre Cisco: Done for the season

Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed Monday that Cisco (pectoral) will miss the remainder of the season, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

The Syracuse product will undergo surgery after sustaining a torn pectoral in the Jets' Week 8 win over the Bengals, so it's no surprise that he'll miss the rest of the year. Cisco played 499 defensive snaps over New York's first eight games this season, recording 41 total tackles and one pass defended. Tony Adams is likely to step in and start at free safety while Cisco is sidelined.

  • Jets' Andre Cisco: Expected to undergo surgery

Cisco (pectoral) is expected to undergo surgery to address a torn pectoral suffered during Sunday's win over the Bengals, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Cisco appears to have suffered a severe pectoral injury, potentially one that could endanger his availability for the rest of the season. The Jets are on bye Week 9, so further information on the starting safety's health may not arrive until the team officially begins preparation to face the Browns in Week 10. Across eight regular-season appearances, Cisco has racked up 41 tackles (26 solo), one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.

  • Jets' Andre Cisco: Exits with shoulder injury

Cisco (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Cisco is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game after sustaining a shoulder injury. Isaiah Oliver and Tony Adams are the top candidates to see additional snaps at safety if Cisco is unable to return.
