Buccaneers' Rashad Wisdom: Won't make return Week 16
Wisdom (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's battle against Carolina, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Wisdom was activated from IR on Wednesday, but Tampa Bay has elected to hold him out of action against the Panthers. Though he appears to be past the quad injury that sidelined him for an extended period, Wisdom may not currently have a role on game days. When he did play earlier in the campaign, Wisdom logged all of his work on special teams across two contests.

Buccaneers' Rashad Wisdom: Activated from IR
The Buccaneers activated Wisdom (quadriceps) from injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Wisdom was placed on injured reserve in late September due to a quadriceps injury. He has fully recovered from the injury and was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, per Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site. That puts Wisdom on track to play Sunday against the Panthers, when he'll likely serve as a contributor on special teams.

Wisdom (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Falcons, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Wisdom won't be activated from injured reserve ahead of Thursday's game. He was a full participant in all three of Tampa Bay's Week 15 practices, which suggests he has a decent chance of being activated for the team's Week 16 game against the Panthers.

Wisdom was unable to return from his extended absence with a quad injury in Week 14 versus the Saints, but it appears he might have a good chance to do so in Week 15. If he practices in full Wednesday, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Buccaneers activate him from their injured reserve list ahead of Thursday's game versus the Falcons.

Wisdom appeared in just two games prior to being placed on IR with a quadriceps issue, recording three total tackles across 25 special-teams snaps. The Buccaneers placed Wisdom (quadriceps) on injured reserve Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Wisdom suffered the injury while on special teams during the Buccaneers' 31-25 loss to the Eagles on Sunday. By being placed on IR, Wisdom will be forced to miss at least the next four games, and the earliest he can be reinstated is ahead of the Bucs' Week 10 clash against the Patriots on Sunday, Nov. 9. Tampa Bay signed undrafted rookie Sebastian Castro from the practice squad to the active roster to add depth to the secondary due to Wisdom's injury.
