Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Back in action Tuesday
McAvoy (rest) will play in Tuesday's home clash against New Jersey, per Scott McLaughlin of WEEI.
After receiving a game of rest once the Bruins qualified for a wild-card spot, McAvoy will return to the lineup for the team's regular-season finale. Across 68 games this season, he's been excellent with 50 assists, 61 points, 111 shots on net, 79 hits and 124 blocked shots. He'll step back into Boston's top defensive pairing Tuesday and will have a tune-up game prior to the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Ruled out for Sunday
McAvoy has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Blue Jackets for rest purposes, Adam Pellerin of NESN reports.
The Bruins have clinched a spot in the playoffs, so McAvoy is one of several players who will rest during the team's penultimate regular-season matchup. Regardless of whether McAvoy suits up against the Devils on Tuesday, he should be ready for the start of the playoffs. Across 68 regular-season games, he has 11 goals, 50 assists, 124 blocked shots, 79 hits and 62 PIM while averaging 24:29 of ice time.

Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Tenth NHL defender to 50 helpers
McAvoy picked up an assist Saturday in a 2-1 loss to Tampa Bay.
It was his 50th assist of the season. McAvoy is the 10th NHL defenseman with at least 50 assists this year. He's the first to do it in a Bruins uniform since Hall of Famer Ray Bourque had 62 in 1995-96.

Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Achieves first 60-point season
McAvoy notched two assists and two PIM in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.
McAvoy had gone three games without a point to start April. He helped out on the Bruins' last two tallies in this contest. McAvoy reached the 60-point mark for the first time in his career, doing so with 11 goals and a career-high 49 helpers over 67 appearances. He's added 111 shots on net, 122 blocked shots, 79 hits, 62 PIM and a plus-13 rating to be one of the most well-rounded blueliners in fantasy hockey.

McAvoy scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blue Jackets.
The Bruins did all their scoring in the third period as they erased a 3-0 deficit, and McAvoy got the comeback started when he snapped a shot from the blue line through traffic to beat Jet Greaves. The 28-year-old defenseman has established a new career high with 57 points (11 goals, 46 assists) on the season thanks to a blistering March that has seen him pile up six goals and 16 points in 15 games.

McAvoy scored a power-play goal in a 4-2 loss to Toronto on Tuesday.
McAvoy was credited with the goal after David Pastrnak's one-timer hit off the defender's skate as he jumped to avoid the shot. The goal cut the score to 3-2 early in the third period, but Boston couldn't muster the tying goal. It was McAvoy's 10th goal of the season. It's the third time in nine seasons that he has reached double digits in goals. He has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two games, and he's been held off the score sheet just twice in his last 21 games (seven goals, 18 assists). His consistency is fantasy gold. McAvoy has 54 points in 59 games this season; that's just two points from his career mark (56 points; 2021-22).

McAvoy has four goals and eight helpers over 11 contests in March after putting together his third multi-point effort of the month. The 28-year-old defenseman is up to nine goals, 53 points, 95 shots on net, 68 hits, 104 blocked shots, 52 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 58 appearances. He's just three points shy of his career-high 56 from the 2021-22 campaign -- McAvoy has a real chance at 60 points for the first time if he can stay healthy and productive down the stretch.

McAvoy scored two goals in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Capitals.
The star blueliner put pucks past Logan Thompson in the second and third periods, tying the game each time, to set up an epic nine-round shootout that was finally ended by Fraser Minten. McAvoy has nine goals on the season, and five of them have come in nine games since the Olympic break -- a stretch in which he's racked up 10 points.

McAvoy registered two assists, including one on the power play, and added four PIM, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Lightning in the Stadium Series.
McAvoy has gotten on the scoresheet in 14 of his last 16 games, earning three goals and 16 helpers in that span. The 28-year-old is still wearing extra face protection to prevent damage to the injury he sustained versus Montreal on Nov. 15, but it hasn't disrupted his vision or slowed him down on offense. For the season, the blueliner is at four goals, 34 assists, 16 power-play points, 66 shots on net, 55 hits, 83 blocked shots, 44 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 44 contests.

Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Hat trick of helpers Saturday
McAvoy dished out three assists, blocked two shots and recorded two hits in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.
McAvoy played a hand in each of the final three goals scored by the Bruins, including when he slid the primary helper on Morgan Geekie's go-ahead goal in the back half of the third period. Overall, McAvoy is up to 29 assists, 33 points, 58 shots on goal, 52 hits and 78 blocks across 40 games this season. Since Dec. 31, the 28-year-old blueliner is tied for sixth among NHL defensemen with 14 points. He also ranks in the top 15 in blocked shots with 26. Boston's top blueliner remains a category-coverage machine when it comes to fantasy, giving McAvoy elite value down the stretch in most league formats.

McAvoy scored a power-play goal on four shots, blocked three shots and added two hits in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.
McAvoy sparked a run of three goals in 54 seconds during the middle of the first period. He's had an excellent January, earning three goals and seven assists over 10 contests this month. For the season, the top-pairing defenseman has 30 points (four goals, 26 helpers), 58 shots on net, 50 hits, 76 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 39 outings. That'd be a 60-point pace over a full season, but time lost due to injury will likely limit McAvoy to the 45-50 point range this season if he can stay healthy the rest of the way.
