  • Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Closes out season strong

McLaurin brought in four of six targets for 93 yards in Washington's 22-7 win over the Giants on Sunday.

The speedster easily paced Washington in receptions, receiving yards and targets to finish off the season with a second straight impressive performance. McLaurin generated an 11-154 line over the last two contests, and Sunday's production vaulted him over the 1,000-yard mark (1,053) for the second consecutive season. There's no questioning McLaurin's game-breaking ability, with the spotty quarterback play he's endured thus far in his first three seasons being the only factor seemingly putting a cap on him elevating to the elite tier of receivers in both a football and fantasy sense.

  • Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Volume returns

McLaurin recorded seven receptions on eight targets for 61 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Eagles.

McLaurin earned at least eight targets for the first time since Week 10 and topped five targets for only the second time in his last five games. He didn't turn that into an elite level of production, though he did manage a pair of catches that went for double-digit gains. Despite having a season to forget due to Washington's poor quarterback play, McLaurin needs only 40 yards in a Week 18 matchup against the Giants to reach 1,000 for the campaign.

  • Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Held to 40 yards in loss

McLaurin caught three of six targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 56-14 loss to Dallas.

McLaurin -- like many Washington position players -- fell victim to the one-sided affair. The 26-year-old was tied for the team lead in targets, signaling that he is still the top dog in the Football Team's wideout rotation. McLaurin's solid fantasy season has come to a screeching halt of late, as he has failed to top 51 yards or score a touchdown over the last five games. The talented receiver is clearly being limited by Washington's recent poor quarterback play, and there is no guarantee that his situation will improve ahead of next week's tilt against Philadelphia after this horrible overall performance by the offense.

  • Football Team's Terry McLaurin: Team-leading yardage in loss

McLaurin brought in two of four targets for 51 yards in Washington's 27-17 loss to the Eagles on Tuesday night.

McLaurin's receiving yardage tally, modest as it was, paced Washington on the night, although nearly all of it came on a 46-yard grab. The speedster's fantasy outlook was naturally dampened by the fact the Football Team was forced to go with Garrett Gilbert at quarterback in the absence of both Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen due to COVID-19 protocols. McLaurin's 51 yards also represent his high-water mark over the last four games, sending him into a Week 16 road matchup against the Cowboys in a near-month-long funk.

  • Football Team's Terry McLaurin: No injury designation

McLaurin (concussion) doesn't carry an injury designation ahead of Tuesday's game against the Eagles.

McLaurin fully participated in each of Washington's three practice sessions this week, and he'll be able to suit up against the Eagles on Tuesday. The 2019 third-rounder has been held in check across the last three games, as he's hauled in seven of 15 targets for 73 yards during that time.
