  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Notches big gain on lone catch

Brown gathered in one of two targets for 35 yards during Sunday's 20-10 defeat to the Texans.

Brown played his role as a deep threat true to form but was unable to find paydirt in the contest. His 35-yard grab kicked off the Chiefs' lone touchdown drive of the day Sunday in what was a lackluster showing from the offense overall. Brown and company will need to be at their best in the coming weeks to secure a playoff spot, but Brown is still just an ancillary option in the offense, finishing with only a 34 percent offensive snap share in Week 14 despite a game script that should have included a pass-heavy approach.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Scores TD on two targets

Brown caught both of his targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in a 31-28 loss at Dallas on Thursday.

Brown has four or fewer targets in seven straight games, after getting five or more in each of Kansas City's first five contests. He's been efficient with his limited chances, but his snap shares have landed between 33 and 44 percent each week since Rashee Rice returned from suspension. Brown figures to continue in his part-time role Week 14 against Houston.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Snares sole target

Brown reeled in his only target for 10 yards during Sunday's 23-20 overtime victory against the Colts.

Brown hasn't reached pay dirt in any of the last four contests, and he doesn't sport enough target volume to warrant a look in the vast majority of fantasy formats. As long as Rashee Rice, Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy remain available, they will continue to claim the vast majority of looks in the passing game, while Brown will aim to produce on limited looks.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Four grabs in Sunday's loss

Brown caught all four of his targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 22-19 loss to the Broncos.

The veteran finished second among Kansas City wideouts in receptions, behind Rashee Rice's six but ahead of Xavier Worthy's three. Brown hasn't seen more than four targets in any of the last five games, posting a 12-172-3 line on 17 targets during that stretch, but he's remained involved in the passing attack since Rice made his season debut. Brown will look to get back into the end zone for the first time since Week 7 in a Week 12 clash with the Colts.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Re-emerges with 73 yards Sunday

Brown had two receptions on four targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 28-21 loss to Buffalo.

Brown resurfaced after being held without a catch in last week's rout of the Raiders. The Chiefs were playing from behind for most of this contest, which helps explain the deep threat's increased involvement Sunday. Brown's four targets checked in at fourth among Kansas City receiving options, a trend that should continue moving forward now that the team's receiving corps is back to full strength. Brown's reduced role should keep him in deep-league territory for fantasy purposes against the Broncos in Week 10.
