Hansen logged 12 tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, in the Texans' 34-30 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
Hansen played 74 defensive snaps in the contest, good for 95 percent of the Cowboys' total defensive plays. The linebacker also played nine snaps on special teams. Hansen sacked quarterback Dak Prescott once while leading both teams in total tackles but it was not enough to stop the Cowboys' offense from securing the Week 4 win.

He logged an LP/LP/FP practice progression this week and was handed a designation of questionable heading into the weekend. Hansen was carted off the field at the start of training camp in late July with an ankle issue. The linebacker was listed as week-to-week as he managed the injury and has finally recovered just in time for the Texans' Week 1 showdown with the Bills.

Hansen was carted off the field Thursday due to the issue, and it seems it will be an elongated recovery period for the 28-year-old.
