Titans' Amani Hooker: Full speed ahead
Hooker (ribs) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
Hooker sustained this rib injury late in the fourth quarter of last week's loss to the Jaguars, but it doesn't look like this will be a lingering issue ahead of a Week 14 clash against the Browns. The 2019 fourth-round pick has produced 63 tackles (46 solo), seven pass breakups and a sack through 12 games this season.

Titans' Amani Hooker: Nursing rib injury
Hooker sustained a rib injury during the Titans' 25-3 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Hooker appeared to sustain the injury late in the fourth quarter and did not return, finishing with four tackles (three solo). He'll undergo further tests to determine the severity of his injury, and rookie third-rounder Kevin Winston would be slated to start at safety alongside Xavier Woods if Hooker were to miss time.

Hooker registered five solo tackles and two pass defenses during Sunday's 41-20 loss to Indianapolis.
Four of Hooker's five solo tackles came in the first half, and he finished tied with Cedric Gray and Xavier Woods for second most tackles on the Titans behind Cody Barton (six). The Titans signed Hooker to a three-year, $48.8 million contract extension Saturday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The deal contains $29 million guaranteed, according to Fowler. The veteran safety was set to enter the final year of his four-year, $30 million contract, but he's now tied to Tennessee through the 2028 season. Hooker started all 14 regular-season games in which he appeared last season, registering 71 tackles (47 solo) and a career-high nine pass breakups, including five interceptions.

Titans' Amani Hooker: Taking part in OTAs
Hooker (shoulder) has been participating in Titans' OTAs this week, Nick Suss of The Tennesseean reports.
Hooker missed the final two games of the regular season with a shoulder issue but is apparently back to full health. He turns 27 in two weeks and is coming off a 2024 campaign that saw him finish with 71 tackles (47 solo) and nine pass breakups, including a team-leading five interceptions. He was the only member of the Titans to record multiple interceptions. Hooker should again slot in as Tennessee's top free safety.

Titans' Amani Hooker: Out again for Week 18
Hooker (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Mike Brown and Daryl Worley should again start at safety for Tennessee in Week 18. Hooker will miss his second straight game to close out the 2024 season, so he'll finish the campaign with 71 tackles (47 solo), nine pass breakups, including a career-best five interceptions, and a pair of forced fumbles across 14 contests, all starts. Signed through 2025, Hooker has one year remaining on a three-year, $30 million contract.

Titans' Amani Hooker: Out for Week 17
Hooker (shoulder) will not play in Sunday's matchup the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website reports.
Hooker injured his shoulder in Week 16 and followed that up with three DNPs in practice this week. As a result, Mike Brown is the likely candidate to again fill in at safety alongside Daryl Worley in Jacksonville.
