Samuel Basallo C | BAL
Orioles' Samuel Basallo: Out of lineup again Tuesday
Basallo (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Mets.
It's the second straight day Basallo has been out of the Orioles' lineup, and he has started only five of the past 12 contests. Basallo missed almost a month of action at the beginning of the second half with right shoulder inflammation, and manager Craig Albernaz noted Monday that Basallo's shoulder is still giving him issues, per Andy Kostka of TheBanner.com. The Orioles could eventually opt to shut Basallo down, but Albernaz has indicated it's not under consideration just yet. Yohel Pozo is doing the catching for Baltimore on Tuesday.

Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Wrist remains bothersome
DeLauter is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox after his right wrist sprain flared up during Monday's contest, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
The 24-year-old missed four games due to the wrist issue before returning to the lineup Wednesday in Baltimore, but he's apparently not fully past the injury. Manager Stephen Vogt said DeLauter should be considered day-to-day. Petey Halpin is picking up a start in the outfield Tuesday with DeLauter on the bench.

Gage Jump SP | ATH
Athletics' Gage Jump: Placed on injured list
The Athletics placed Jump on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to Sept. 13, due to a left shoulder impingement.
The A's have already been eliminated from playoff contention, so the move to the IL will officially bring an end to Jump's 2026 campaign. The left-hander finishes his rookie year having gone 6-11 in 20 starts with a 5.47 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 108:46 K:BB across 98.2 innings. He should compete for a rotation spot during spring training but likely won't enter camp with a guaranteed role.
