  • Devils' Nico Hischier: Tallies on power play

Hischier scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-3 in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Red Wings.

All of Hischier's offense this season has come with the man advantage -- he has three goals and a helper over six games. The center has added 13 shots on net, three hits, four blocked shots and a minus-4 rating. Hischier will continue to operate in a top-six role, and he tends to draw tough defensive assignments at even strength. Still, he is capable of better scoring performances than what we've seen so far.

  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Two-point effort in defeat

O'Reilly scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

O'Reilly opened the scoring just 3:55 into the first period, then assisted on Adam Edstrom's shorthanded goal in the second. The veteran center also finished with a plus-1 rating in an otherwise disappointing night for Nashville. His substantial playing time and involvement in multiple situations should help him stay relevant in fantasy, though. He has points in four of his last five appearances, tallying two goals and three assists over that stretch.

  • Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Nets goal against Predators

Karlsson scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Karlsson contributed to Vegas' balanced offensive performance, finding the back of the net in the second period to give the Golden Knights a 5-2 lead they'd never relinquish. Karlsson's ability to contribute in multiple situations makes him a useful fantasy option in deeper leagues, especially when his scoring remains consistent. On that note, he has cracked the scoresheet in three of his last four games and has found the twine in back-to-back contests, so he's trending in the right direction.

  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Finds twine in victory

Hertl scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Hertl made an impact offensively with a first-period goal, and his wrist shot tied the game for the Golden Knights at the 6:46 mark. Although his limited shot volume and ice time capped his overall fantasy contributions, Hertl's continued involvement in the Golden Knights' power-play rotation should provide opportunities to maintain his scoring production. Hertl has seven points in eight games, though it must be noted that four of those points (two goals and two assists) came in a 6-2 win over Seattle on Oct. 6.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Scores in win over Nashville

Eichel scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Eichel contributed to Vegas' offensive success while logging 17:54 of ice time, including 1:49 on the power play. The star center finished with a plus-1 rating and won seven of his 15 faceoffs, helping the Golden Knights improve to 6-2-0 on the season. His four shots led all Vegas players, reinforcing his importance as a primary offensive contributor. Eichel's combination of scoring ability, shot volume and prominent power-play usage continues to make him an elite fantasy option.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Three-point effort fuels victory

Scheifele scored a goal on three shots and added two assists, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild.

Scheifele was instrumental in Winnipeg's offensive success, setting up Cole Perfetti's opening goal before scoring his first tally of the season later in the first period. He also assisted on Perfetti's power-play marker in the second, finishing with a plus-2 rating across 16:19 of ice time. Scheifele has continued to develop strong chemistry with Perfetti and Kyle Connor on the Jets' top line, and his prominent offensive role should keep him highly productive in fantasy formats.

  • Jets' Cole Perfetti: Scores twice in victory

Perfetti scored two goals, including one on the power play, on four shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild.

Perfetti was one of Winnipeg's most productive offensive players, recording a pair of goals while finishing with a plus-1 rating. The winger logged 16:13 of ice time, including 2:31 on the power play, and his four shots tied for the team's lead, highlighting his involvement in the Jets' offensive attack. Perfetti's combination of scoring ability and power-play opportunities gives him considerable upside in most fantasy formats.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two goals including GWG

Verhaeghe scored two goals, one the game-winner on the power play, in Tuesday's 7-3 victory over Columbus.

After Brady Tkachuk has erased a 1-0 deficit with a natural hat trick to begin the second period, Verhaeghe made it 4-1 by tapping home a slick cross-ice feed from the younger Tkachuk brother. It was Verhaeghe's first multi-point effort of the season, and through seven games he's produced three goals and an assist as he looks to put together his fifth straight campaign with 20-plus goals and 50-plus points.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Three points in Columbus

Reinhart scored two goals, one on the power play, and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Both tallies came in the third period as the Panthers put the game away. Reinhart failed to record a point in the first five games of the season, but he's come to life with back-to-back multi-point efforts in which he's racked up four goals and an assist, with Tuesday's empty-netter being his first point of the season that didn't come with the man advantage.

  • Rangers' Cole Beaudoin: Dropped to minors

Beaudoin was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Wednesday.

Beaudoin will trade places with Justin Dowling, who was called up in a corresponding move. While the 20-year-old has moved up and down between levels recently, he's only appeared in four games for the club and logged just 3:29 of ice time versus the Lightning on Tuesday. This move will allow Beaudoin to see significantly more minutes in the minors, which should further his development more than sitting on the bench with the Rangers.
